Well, I have reached my weigh in day (Day 6 just to ensure it coincides with the start of each week).
The good news is that this morning I weighed 19st 6lbs which means I have lost 5lb in 6 days (and a loss of 1cm off each of my vital statistics too)… Great news!!
Better go and get some work done - I’ll be back with a further update this evening.

There you go - I couldn’t help myself and hopped on the scales this morning to see how much I’d have lost in a ‘true week’ rather than my previously set weigh in day….. Another lb off (Now 19st 5lb) so that is 6lb in the first week.
I had the venison sausage meal for dinner last night (because hubby and bruv were having venison steaks and I didn’t want to feel left out)- OMG how tasty are they? They are the highest calorie content meal I’ve found in the packs so far but well worth it!
I also had the mutton stew on Sunday night which really was delicious…. Loving the diet so far and there seems to be enough variety to stop the boredom, although admittedly I had a new potato & egg salad for lucnh yesterday as I just wanted a cold meal rather than the soup I’d taken in for lunch…..
I’ve also done a video diary (only a couple of entries though as I work a fair distance from home) which I’ll finish off this evening.

Hi Guys,
I am now on day 6 on the diet chef diet. Going to weigh myself again tomorrow morning, but lost 4lb in the first 4 days. I am to an “ex-lighterlifer”. Losing 3stone in 11 weeks. To be fair, it has taken me 3 years to put 2.5 stone of that back on, but now I’m feeling fat again and this diet looked ideal…. REAL FOOD for a start!!
I really love the parsnip soup, not to sure about the pea and ham yet (ham was a bit fatty I thought), beef a bit too spicy for me (especially now as the weather is a bit hotter too!). Love all the evening meals apart from the haddock really. Not tried the venison sausages yet, but cant wait for those…
I also love the fact that you can take a day off (unlike lighterlife where your ketosis stick will dob you in, and you will be repremanded for being such a disgrace).
The only thing I would say is that I do seem to be craving foods that normally I could take or leave at the moment… I think this is all in my head, and purely because I seem to want anything I cant have to eat, but I found myself in morrisons today, salivating over a rustlers microwave rib burger!!! The shame of it…
Anyway, I am so glad that there areso many others out there doing it with me, and who will understand my rants about my general food eating (or not) habits!
