Well the good news is that last week was a really good week diet-wise. Still no exercise as I’m still laid up with a trick hip but the convenience of this plan means that preparing my food doesn’t keep me on my feet for long (although preparing hubby and bruv’s food is another matter entirely)…..
Anyway, hubby was away at a bike rally this weekend and bruv was on nights so I should have had the place to myself. However my sister decided that since I couldn’t go on a girls night out, she would bring it to me, so Saturday night wasn’t good (or should I say it was - just not for the weightloss plan). 1 bottles of wine and a pizza each later, she collapsed on the sofa and I retired to bed - damage done! Added to which I cooked a full sunday lunch yesterday as hubby wanted real food when he got home from his motorbike rally…….all in all the weekend was a recipe for disaster!
The net result of this is a weigh in of 264lb and that I seem to have accumulated 5 lb (in addition to however the diet went last week - no cheating so I have no idea if i lost any weight prior to the night of debauchery).
Back on the wagon this morning - I’ll shortly be having Granola, yoghurt and fruit for breakfast!!
Am a day short of completing the first week and curiosity got the better of me - I have lost 6lbs!!!! How chuffed am i?!
Food tastes great although was quite hungry on the first day. After a couple of days I felt much better. I think the best thing is there is no preparation involved. It’s there ready to cook!
Can’t wait to try out some of the new food.

Hi Andrea
Don’t let saturday night spoil your fun and the weight loss plan. You’ve done extremely well so far and have been an inspiration to me and others with the weight you have lost!!! (It was reading your diary that spurned me on to join the plan). A night or meal off now and then won’t hurt anyone as this is not designed to be a rigid plan. It’s definitely better than doing the Lighterlife diet as that is so rigid ( a friend of mine did it) and you would have had to confess to all in a counselling session and analyse why you did it, not my cup of tea!! Whereas here it just goes to show we are all normal people and we are allowed to treat ourselves.
Just start again this week and I’m sure you will be back on track soon. Don’t forget as well that you have lost the weight so far without exercise due to your hip (which I hope gets better soon, I know what it’s like to be in constant pain and inactive)which again is a great achievement.
Keep up the good work and I’m sure we will see the weight come off this week.
