Well day 2 and I’m very happy with the meals, I had red pepper & goats cheese soup and it was very moreish
Thanks to everyone who got in touch to wish me well, it was much appreciated. Good luck to you all too.
My daughter hasn’t set a wedding day yet as I have to lose the weight first.
Can anyone tell me how much granola you are allowed for breakfast?
Thanks Heather
Hi again
I wondered that on the 1st day. I ordered the 2 week pack, and it came it 2 packets of granola, so i presume its a packet per week, so i found a nice little ramekin dish, which i found if i measure 7 little portions, it empties the packet. So i keep the ramekin dish next to my package, and just fill it to the top each morning, then i know i’ve got the correct amount. I don’t have any kitchen scales, so i found this the easiest way.
Remember my tip on using warm milk in the microwave i posted on your 1st day diary. It really does make a lovely breakfast.

I believe the portion size is meant to be 50g per day (based on the serving size on the back of the bag). This was mentioned when I first started doing the diet and I understand diet chef are hoping to source appropriate sized packs at some point in the future.
If you buy a month hamper, you will only get 3 bags.
I tend to have it with 100g of 0% fat greek yoghurt and some fruit.
I have been weighing 50g of the Granola for breakfast and the pack lasted 10 days, so I must have been doing something right!!! I ordered a months supply of meals and received 3 bags of Granola which should equate to 30 days so in theory should have 2 days worth of Granola left, bearing in mind we have meals for 28 days. I am going to make cereal bars for my kids with whats left over for their packed lunches.

Thanks for putting me right Andrea, how silly do i feel. I suppose cos i’ve been ordering the 2 week box which comes with 2 packets i presumed it was a packet per week. I’ll start weighing out 50g in future. Maybe that’ll increase my weight loss too, although i’ve still lost 4lb in the 1st week, which i’m delighted with.
