I hopped on the scales this morning and to be honest I’m not inclined to believe them - they showed 254.7lb (hence the disbelief - I feel huge at the moment and really am not convinced that I have lost over 12lb in a week).  I don’t know whether they were in a different spot on the bathroom floor, or I was sttod on them differently or what but I just don’t believe them today!

Still no video diary, I don’t know how I managed to fit everything in before I was off sick.  I seem to be at work, asleep or doing college work all the time (spent 7 hours on a ‘Superstructures’ assignment yesterday) - I will try to fit a diary in this evening but I’m having time management issues I think…..  Not helped by plans every weekend for the next month - Amsterdam this weekend, Silverstone the next weekend, Wales the weekend after - then I finally get a weekend to myself as hubby goes off to the MotoGP at Donington for 5 nights……. In between times I have 4 more college assignments to complete!

Hiya everyone,

Hope your all doing OK. I weighed myself to night and lost 0.4lb. I wasn’t expecting to loose much with it being the bank hol’s. I went to the British Superbikes at Donnington with my hubby, we had a fab time. I’m straight back on the diet today so hopefuly next week will be better.

Well, I remembered to hop on the scales this morning…..  The result of this weekends excesses is 267lb (6lb back on)……

Back on the plan though so it will soon be back off again.  Must dash - off to college this morning for the first time in 6 weeks so I need to make sure I have everything I need before i set off.

Hiya Everyone,

I weighed myself this morning and was 174.2ld so that’s a loss of just 1ld this week, I guess I’m paying for the wedding, mind you it’s a total loss of 13.4ld so I’m well pleased :-) I’m going to try a go on my pilates machine more this week, I found it hard last week as I pulled a muscle in my back.

I’m loving all the meals and finding it much easier than other diets I’ve done in the past. The best part about it is you don’t have to go to the shops, read all the labels to see whats in it and it gets delivered. Now how easy is that!

I hope I do a bit better over the next couple of weeks as I’m going to visit my daughter in Germany. I’ll prob put loads of weight back on coz she’s a fab cook. Never mind.

Hooray and Yippee, weighed in yesterday morning (5.15am) at 11st 12lb so I am under 12 stone in weight for the first time in quite a while!!!!! Feeling over the moon. That makes it a total of 11lb in the first 4 weeks which I’m totally thrilled about.

My next aim is to lose the 12lbs in the next few weeks so I am under 11 stone. Went on the Wii last night and did 2 lots of 3 minute jogging, I was knackered but certainly worked up a sweat. Plus I had been up since 5am and didn’t go to bed until 10.30pm. I aim to do at least 30 mins of exercise every night this week to see if this extra exercise helps the weight loss.

I’m really enjoying the new dishes, there isn’t one I have had that I don’t like. A couple of days I have had a light salad for lunch and made sure I didn’t exceed the calories a soup would have if I had eaten one. Some days it’s been too hot to eat soup but a salad was a good substitute.

I also had the coco snack bar and that is delicious. Well, that’s it for today. Lots of work on, so should get back to it.

Well we have had our mad weekend with the rellies over from Canada, so that is over and done with now…. 27 bodies (10 of which were kids) milling about the garden yesterday, feeding their faces and draining the fridge!!  Utter madness but really enjoyable (when the sun was out).  I didn’t drink this weekend but I did eat well so we will have to see the verdict on the scales tomorrow.

Back at work today but was so bleary eyed when the alarm went off at 5.30 for the first time in 6 weeks that I forgot to get weighed….  I’ll leave myself a post it on the bathroom mirror tonight so that I don’t forget to hop on them in the morning.

No video either, just completely slipped my mind.  The camcorder is on the coffee table though so I’ll endeavour to remember to do some tonight.

Have managed to have Red Pepper & Goats Cheese soup for lunch - brought Granola into work for breakfast this morning and was so busy I forgot to eat it!!  Never mind I can have it in the morning instead.

I am also full of cold now (my bodies objection to coming  back to work I think, that or having to mingle with people again…) so on top of my usual daily vitamins, cod liver oil & glucosamine, I am making my way through a carton of orange juice to try and make myself feel better.  My painkillers are doing an admirable job of trying to hold off the hip pain but are failing miserably…..  I can see myself being back at square one at this rate.

Hi everyone

Thanks for your comments to my entry earlier this week.  Big mistake in that I can’t add up!!! I said my weight the previous week was 12st 2lb so weighing in at 12st means a loss of 2lb not 1lb as I had put.  Doooooh!!!!!! I even put that I had lost 9lbs to date so don’t know what went wrong there.  Hoping my weigh-in onMonday means I am going to be 11 stone something!!

In answer to the many questions Carmen sent in.  I am coming up to the end of my fourth week and have just received my second hamper, (I ordered a months supply) which was like Christmas as I had ordered all the new dishes. So I now have a different main course for each day of the week.  I was so excited about receiving it I dived straight in and chose a new dish for my evening meal.  I had the Lamb casserole and it was delicious.  Really I should have waited until I had finished my first hamper but I have just mixed everything up together now.  It’s like a lucky dip some days as I just close my eyes and delve in to see what I have chosen for that day, it adds to the excitement and knowing I now have so many dishes tochoose from makes it even more exciting.

I was disappointed though in that the new Mushroom soup that was introduced earlier this month is now out of stock so I couldn’t order it.  However I have ordered the crab and asparagus which I am going to try today.

The meals are absolutely delicious and there are so many to choose from.  I still have some I haven’t  tried or ordered yet and I’m hoping that there will be a few more dishes added before I order my next hamper in 4 weeks time. I’ve found I’m eating more fruit and veg since starting the plan.  I have been using Morrisons steam/microwave vegetables which are in individual bags (pack of 4 bags) each coming in at between 39 - 54 cals per bag so you know exactly how many cals you are having with your main.

My tip is to keep a diary of what you have eaten and how many cals.  Some days I have eaten a lot less than the 1200 and others I am averaging about 1175 but I have never felt hungry between meals. I don’t drink water so I have been diluting a no added sugar fruit squash and sometimes have it with diet lemonade (lcal per 100ml) to keep my fluid intake up.  I usually make a litre jug up to make sure I drink that amount but I have actually been drinking up to 3 litres in a day, something I never did before so my kidneys are working on overtime now which is probably why I am less bloated.

Anyway, on to the Wii.  This is great fun, my scores to date are 655 (rocket fire) on the steps plus, 1053 (rocket fire) steps (in 10 mins) on the free-step, I will be progressing to the 20 mins level next week.  304 (rocket fire) on the hula hoops and 106 (professional) on the balance balls game.  I have just stuck to these activities as they are fairly gentle on my back, although after the hula hooping I did ache quite a lot the next couple of days, but no pain, no gain as they say.

Just to let you know I tried the new crab and asparagus soup today. It was very nice but could not taste the crab. I pinched it off my daughter who has decided to do the diet for a couple of weeks before she goes to Mexico for her hol’s. :-(

Well I finally plucked up the courage to hop on the scales and I’m currently at the same weight as last week….. 261lb.  I’ve just found the charger for my camcorder so should start the next video in the next day or so - I might even be brave enough to do next weeks weigh in on camera (then again)………

My aunt is already over here but is coming to visit this weekend so I’m being very good during the week to counteract the upcoming naughtiness this weekend……  I’ve not seen her for over 5 years (except on Messenger) so this is a real event for the whole family.  If the weather is bad, we will have to rethink the barbecue and do an indoor party instead!

Well done on the weightloss everyone - just goes to show that you can still have a social life on this plan and lose weight!

I have been cleared to go back to work next week (hip is improving) so hopefully I should also be able to resume exercise at that point too.

One thing I am finding is that as we have very warm weather this last couple of weeks, I have been veering more towards salads than soups so I may not need a months pack of food next time I order!!  I have a glut of soup now….

Hope your all well.

Well I weighed myself this morning as was very surprised at the result, another 2.6lb gone. How happy am I :-) :-) :-)

I thought I would have stayed the same or put weight on after the wedding. Mind you it may not show till next week.

I ordered another 2 weeks supply yesterday, I was going to order the 1 month supply but as they are adding new items I thought the 2 weeks would do for now. I couldn’t wait a whole month to try the new items.
