Hi All,
I have been doing diet chef for 3 weeks now, but only just managed to get registered on the forum
Over the last 3 weeks I have been reading the forum, and it has really kept me on track. Reading Heathers weekly weigh in has kept me focussed, and i would like to thank her for that.
Like I said I have been doing diet chef for 3 weeks now, and am finding it amazing. No hunger, real food and easy to prepare. I work funny hours and the packets are so easy to grab on my way out to work, and it is great coming home, not having to weigh out food and spend ages cooking it.
My weigh ins in brief:
Week 1 - lost 9lb - was absolutely blown away. I was expecting a loss, as with all diets the first week it tends to start with a bigger loss, but this was so much more than i was expecting.
Week 2 lost 4 lbs - Again, blown away. I thought with such a big loss on week 1 i would loose very little if any on week 2.
Week 3 - this week, lost 4lbs. I am just so amazed, over a stone in 3 weeks. Wow what a great start and a great motivation to keep me going. (Can you see why now i was desperate to get on this blog lol)
I just had to share this, because I am just so amazed and proud of myself for sticking to this, and hope it inspires others, just like Heathers blogs have been inspiring me.

Hi there guys,
I am so chuffed to have found someting like this and read peoples results, amazing.
For me all I want is to loose a stone, but am worried howto go about it, tried ww no good, rosemary conley etc, just like eating mainly chocolate, I am 10stone 7 at the minute, perhaps not that heavy but for me i know it is etc, so any advice really on which one and how long for??
Look forward to hearing from someone
Cheers Lyndzx
Hi Lyndsey,
I lost a stone in 4 weeks with diet chef, but you have to leave the chocolate in the shop. You could have the chocolate milkshakes for your lunch and that might stop your cravings for chocolate. I would choose the meals and get the one’s you know you will eat, add veg to fill the meals out, eat fruit in betwen meals and drink plenty water.
Just order your hamper and your on your way to being a stone lighter.
I hope this helps you.
Good luck!
Heather.
Hi ya
Newbie here . The first month’s supply arrived yesterday and I’ll be starting Monday . Any helpful hints would be most welcome as I want to lose 12 stone. So you might see me around for a few years yet !
Hi to both newbies.
Good luck with your diet chef.
I am/was also a chocoholic, and thought it would be really difficult not to have chocolate, but just from eating properly, and eating real food and not feeling hungry with diet chef it takes away alot of the wanting of anything else.
Here are a few tips I have found useful:
Each time I had a chocolate pang, I would nibble on one of the banana bars. I was not keen on the banana bars, so by nibbling on one related that taste to chocolate and the chocolate pangs are gradually disappearing. (Maybe this is just in my mind… but it does work for me)
I also agree with Heather, that having the chocolate milk shakes helps loads.
I also think that if you can have it in your head it is only for week, when you weigh in for the first time the weight loss gives you so much motivation. I go week by week, rather than thinking it is for months, and it does make it easier. (Even though I have a months supply in cupboard, in my head i think one week)I have now been thinking just one more week for 3 weeks, and as soon as I weigh and see the results it becomes one more week.
Hope some of these tips help. Again, good luck
Den
Hiya newbie,
I don’t know your name but welcome to the diet chef gang.
I’ve been on the plan for 12 weeks now and have found in quite easy. It dosen’t feel like a diet as the food is so lush.
You say you have 12 stone to loose, why dont you say 1 stone to loose then when you loose that you can keep telling yourself another stone. It better to think 1 stone that 12 stone.
When I have my meals I add loads of veg and eat plenty fruit in between, I also drink loads of water.
I hope you have a good week.
Heather.
Thank you both ( Den and Heather )
Your tips will prove helpful as I get a chocholate craving at least once every 4 weeks :¬(
I will take it a week at a time and a stone at a time as I am sure as with any diet or healthy eating plan there will be bad days.
Still full of enthusiasm at the moment though as off to Spain in a few months. This I am sure will keep me going
Happy healthy eating
Angie
