Hi everyone,
How you all doing?
I’ve decided not to weigh myself this week, and I’m not going to till my daughter goes away in 3 weeks. I think it will be pointless because I’m not worrying about what I’m eating when she’s home, it’ll just spoil the time I’ve got to spend with her before she goes to Afganistan.
So I hope you all have a good weigh in this week.
Heather.
I’ve just started today having switched from Go Lower. The Granola is lovely - sweeter than I thought it would be not OTT like some. Think I shall be enjoying my breakfasts.
Wow, bet you are worried about your daughter going away. Is she going to be gone for long?
Caroline
Hi Caroline,
Did you not have much luck with the Go Lower plan?
How much do you need to loose?
I love everything on this plan.
My daughter will be away for 6 months, this is the second war zone she’s been sent too:-( She was in Iraq 18 months ago.
I’ve told her that while she’s away I will be back to my target weight by the time she get’s back, so I’ll have to stick to the plan to make sure it comes off. If I loose 2ld a week for 26 weeks that’s 52ld. I’ll be happy with that.
Good luck for your first weigh in.
Heather.
Yeah, the Go Lower was okay but a lot more expensive - I have lost a stone in a month on it, but am not fond of all the nuts. The Lizi’s Granola is nicer by far and I’ve really loved the Nakd Apple Bar.
Got a lot to lose - another 9 stone to go but I’ll get there bit by bit.
Wow, I can’t imagine what it must be like when she is away. Our military are doing a great job out in Afghanistan. They deserve more credit given what the politicians have got them involved in - I bet it’s not easy being out in those hot countries facing threats everyday!
You will do it
You have a great incentive in your daughter’s return.
Thanks
Caroline
Well done Caroline , know how you feel I’ve got loads to lose too. But at the moment am aiming for a stone at a time , so as not to lose heart ! First week I lost 7 lb this week I lost 4lb but craving fatty food at the moment so not a good week for me.
Roll on next week, the cravings may have gone by then … hopefully
Heather , you seem to have a good philosophy ! Get back on track when you can get your mind focused. Enjoy your daughter’s stay first !
Angela
Being on a diet is last thing you need to be worried about whilst you have your daughter home. The weight will come off at any time, but your daughters time with you is now, so have a great time, and eat some nice treat for me
