I’m new to this blogging lark, but couldn’t wait to get started :-) I’ve enjoyed reading everybody’s bloggs & comments so much. Well done all of you on your weight losses :-) I’m very happy to embark on the journey with you.

I started my Diet Chef ‘way of eating’ last Wed, so 1st weigh in tomorrow! Being a seasoned dieter for many years, this is great & I’m loving it! I love the tasty variety of ‘proper’ food, the portion control (big help!) & not feeling hungry, it’s fab :-) Spicy Cumbrian Beef & tomato soup - my fave so far. Have bought a small flask to take my soup to work - definately a good move.

Will let you know how I do tomorrow… Have lots to loose…

Anthea :-)

Hi all :)

Hope you all had a good week.

I have just finished wk4 & have lost 1 3/4lbs this week, not quite to my first stone goal yet but getting there slowly, can’t wait to get to my goal as promised to treat myself to something nice (not anything to do with food ).

Best wishes to everyone

Hi all - I have completed my first week and have lost an amazing 10 lbs!!  I imagine much of this is water but I can tell a difference in the shape of my body already. I have tried many many diets in my life but so far none has topped Diet Chef in terms of convenience, taste of food, variety of meals and cost. I love the idea of not having to cook, weigh/measure ingredients, plan meals, and best of all my weekly time in Tesco has been significantly reduced, because I detest grocery shopping anyway. My biggest downfall is portion control, with Diet Chef this is all taken care of.  I purchased the pre packed hamper for my first 28 days, the goat cheese and red pepper soup is my absolute favourite, the the honey and parsnip soul is tasty as well. Favourite dinners are chile con carne and tomato pasta.

I love the fact that I can also “blend” in with colleagues and friends (I dont often like to tell people Im on a diet or draw attention to the fact that I am overweight and always dieting). I bought a .5 litre vacuum flask for £5 at Tesco and I put my soup in there for days when I am away from the office and cant get to a kitchen to prepare lunch, I tried it the other day and it kept the soup hot for ages until I could eat it. Water is the hardest for me, I tend to avoid it but I have purchased a water bottle and made a commitment to drinking x amount of water at certain intervals so I dont get too behind, eg. 8 oz with morning snack, 16 oz with lunch, etc.

Overall I am thrilled with this diet and would recommend it. Will reach the end of week 2 this Wed so will let you know how I did. Good luck to all of you as well!

Hello

Just ordered my first hamper, can’t wait for it to arrive. I have lots of weight to lose!!!!!!!!! Would love to be 4.5 stone lighter cant remember when I was last 9 stone —-think I was at school.

Diet looks really good and takes the thinking out of it. Does anyone have any hints or tips on how to get the best out of the diet?

Thanks

Leigh

Hi Guys,

I have just finished week 4 on diet chef and am really pleased, I have lost an amazing 13lbs.  I am so pleased as I have tried many different diets all with very little success. I am so close to my first stone off !!! I still have another 3.5 stone to go to get to my target weight but the food is great and I don’t feel like i’m on a diet at all. What has really amazed me is the inch lose, I have lost a fantastic 5 inches off my waist!!!  looking forward to the next month and hope the weight keeps coming  off.

Hi all,

I weighed myself today and have lost the magical 7lbs.  Started my second week yesterday and am looking forward to ordering my next lot.  Might do the 28 day with 7 days free.  Sounds good to me.  Beef and tomato soup is not selectable now though and I love that one.

Thank you Diet Chef,
3 new soups they sound lush, can’t wait to see what the new meals will be. Chicken would be nice.
I’ve just ordered the 28 day hamper + 7 day hamper free.
What more could you ask for, pounds off the price and pounds off the waist. Great value!
Heather.

Drizzly and chillier weather seem to be the main feature of the current weather forecast, so we thought it would be a great idea to bring in some new soups for Autumn to keep you cosy and warm

We are launching 3 NEW soups today, and planning more meals for next month.

Here they are:

Free Range Chicken and Thyme Soup

Mushroom Soup

 English Tomato with Pesto

We are always asked about variety - it is worth noting that many of our more expensive competitors have much more limited choice than us!

We currently have 28 different meal option, where our next competitor has only 18!!

Diet Chef Competitors
Breakfasts 3 1
Lunch 10 5
Dinners 12 8
Bars 4 4
Cost £47.50 every week £66-90 per week

Also make sure that you are getting a minimum of 4 meal items per day - many of our competitors have reduced the amount of food they supply on their “programme” but keep the price the same - what a cheek!!

Choose your meals FREE

This has been so popular with our customers that to help make every pound go further we are keeping the customisation FREE until further notice that saves £4.95 per week!  We are also currently redesigning the meal choice page to make it easier to use. You shouldn’t have to buy in 1,2 or 4 week durations any more.

Great, i lost 5lbs in the first week and 2lbs second week. Its slowly but surely coming off, I don’t like the bars though as they are too sweet for my taste buds, everything else is fine. Collegues at work want to follow the plan so let’t hope they will be a satisfied as I am. Goodluck to all those who have just started on the plan.
