Hi

I didn’t do too great in week 3.  I ate out nearly everyday and drank copious amounts of red wine. So surprise surprise I put on 3lbs,  I’m surprised it wasn’t more.  Next week I should be more focused as kiddies away to grandparents for half term. All I have to do is cook for hubby and concentrate on myself.  So I have no excuses this week. Disappointed in myself though as I was hoping to lose 12lbs to 1 stone in my first month.

I’m really glad Diet chef have introduced the chicken curry. I’ll be ordering loads of that and the wild rabbit in my next month hamper. I absolutely love the Wild Rabbit. Yum yum.

I’ve lost another 4lbs. I’m very pleased with that. 8lb in two weeks is some record for me. The most I’ve ever lost is about 18/20 years ago when I thought I was overweight (oh if I knew then what I know know.  I was a size 12/14 and thought I needed to lose weight. I went on Rosemeary Conley Inch Loss diet. Remember that?  I lost about 1/2 a stone but went down to a 10/12.

Since then I havebeen  putting on weight ever since and now I am a glorious size 22.

So 8lbs is a helluva breakthrough for me and I know I can continue the diet up until my holiday in December.

Weigh in at the end of week 2 - another 3.5lbs, so an astonishing total of 9 lbs!  I am very pleased and able to stick to the diet 100%.  I’ve never felt hungry and enjoy all the breakfasts and soups, although my enthusiasm for some of the packs has wained a little.  I’d like to do another month after this, but not sure if I can face the same 7 main meals for an additional 4 weeks (after 5).  Its a pity there aren’t any chicken dishes and perhaps some things cooked with more exotic spices and herbs to make them more interesting and less …. English!

Going to step up the exercise from tomorrow to try and keep the momentum going - its great as my teenage daughter hasn’t even noticed I’m on a diet yet!  My husband was also sceptical but is pleased as it is working. Has anyone had trouble sleeping?

Keep up the good work.  Overall I’m just relieved to find something that works and is not taking forever to shift a pound.

Julie

Just wanted to say thanks for your comments it made me feel like I have a nice support group around me, as my husband not to sure about this.  To be fair I think he is just sick of me trying to lose weight .  Well I have to say day 1 done and I cant believe how nice the food is.  It tastes better than anything I can cook.

We have all been working hard to improve the website and I think that from this afternoon we are there! You can now select any number of meals in your 7, 14 or 28 day hamper (still FREE !!) and it is not restricted any more to multiples of 7 days.

In addition we have improved the stock management system so when a product is temporarily unavailable the website will automatically update.

Hopefully this will answer your requests and make it simpler to order online. We have therefore removed the option to choose meals as the standard hampers are the default option when you select “Buy Now”

Finally we are getting back to finishing selecting a few new products - more about this later this month!

Well today is my first day on a long life changing journey with over 11 stone to lose.  I am 19st 2lb and my ultimate goal is 8st.  So here’s to it, cant be any worse than other diets.  I have possibly chose the  worst week to start as I also started an intensive driving course  doing 7 hours a day, but I am looking forward as I have a lot of family engagements over the next few months.  So I look forward to updating you all next week.
