Suzanne's Diet Chef Story
I realised I had let my weight get out of control when I ended up gasping for breath as I carried my four year old Erin. I was taking the wee one to bed and, after being so out of breath, I said to my husband Brian, ‘That’s it, I’m starting to lose weight.’
I needed to do something. First of all I managed to shed some of the weight on my own, but then I started with Diet Chef and having got down from 20 to 12 stone they were so impressed they took me on as a diet consultant.
If I can do it, anyone can. It was very hard work at times, but the difference has been amazing.
I can use my own experience to help others and to encourage them that no matter how heavy you are, you can still lose weight with some willpower and the right encouragement. But more often than not, they throw in the towel quickly, wasting time and a great deal of money in the process.
As a Diet Chef employee I couldn’t enter our competition, but the best prize I had was when Erin said, ‘Mummy isn’t fat any more’ it made me feel great and that it was worth all the effort I had to put in.
