"I am just coming to the end of a 3 month trial and have lost 1 1/2 stone. Everybody at work compliments how good I look which results in talking about the food I eat and portion sizes. At first I didn\'t think I would last on the portion sizes given but I actually suprised myself by feeling full after a meal. I still have my cheat days and had 2 3 course meals out last week which shows that you don\'t need to be rigid and can still enjoy a varied life of food. The food variety is good and I haven\'t become bored yet. Whilst the deal initially sounds expensive when you work it out per day it saves a fortune, cheaper than buying lunch out. I have another 10lbs to loose to hit my personal goal weight so hopefully I will have some more good news at the end of month 4."

"After years of trying to lose weight and just getting heavier I hit my 49th birthday at my heaviest of 211 llbs (over 15 st). I vowed to get back to a decent weight and shape by my 50th birthday and gave myself six months to a year to do it. I have lost 34 llbs since October and can now get into a pair of 10 year old shorts I could not bear to throw out as I loved them. I did not believe I would ever EVER get back into them. I have dieted for years with no success with Weightwatchers, Rosemary Connelly and Slimming World. I tell everyone how good Diet Chef is, especially when used in conjunction with My Fitness Pal app for iPhone, iPad and PC as you know exactly how much you can eat and you know when you have to stop. I would heartily recommend this to anyone as the foods are great. Anyone wary of the cost, don't be, you will be surprised at how little extra you need to buy, just fruit, vegetables, milk and yoghurt, the result being I have spent a whole lot less at the supermarket. Can't recommend it highly enough."

"Hi I decided I really needed to lose weight after suffering a stroke in 2009. I struggled on my own first joined one then another slimming class. Paying registrations and even having to pay if I missed a week. Frankly, I got fed up being weight in public and patronised when losing a pound or two, only to put it back on the next week. I was hungry and miserable. So thought I\'d put my modest life savings to a good use so tried hypnosis.WRONG! The only pounds I lost were the 400 I gave the hypnotist. So for me this is not expensive when you add up all the money wasted trying and failing before? My son is getting married this year and I don\'t want to look like a walking sofa in my outfit. Wedding is the end of June and I\'ve got a lot to lose with a starting weight of 17st plus. Wish me luck and I wish you all the best of luck too. Two days in and loving the food as no good at planning or cooking meals. Thanks Diet Chef and you guys for the support. xoxoxoxoxo Dee "

"I tried a couple of times to loose weight for my son's wedding last year but didn't loose any weight and came to the conclusion that because I was older now the weight just wasn't going to come off and gave up. I saw Diet Chef advertised on tv just before New Year and decided it was worth a last try. Well I wish i had found it before. I had been wary of the cost but I am saving by not eating out so much and only having my husband to buy for. I am not a great cook so Diet Chef was made for me :). There are no meals I don't like and my husband has often asked me if I am sure I am on a diet when he sees how much you get. I am three and a half weeks in to the diet and lost 10 lbs. I do struggle at night as that is when I used to snack but that is just a habit and it will go. Looking forward to the new, more energetic me."

"I started Diet chef last May as I was in desperate need of losing two stone at least, hopefully three.(13 stone) I chose Diet Chef because it suited my life style of working full time and often coming in late and not shopping regularly and having the right food in the house to eat. I l lost a stone in a month and enjoyed the meals. I only needed to make sure I had veg and salad to go with the evening meals. The soups are lovely for lunch from a flask at work and the muesli breakfast bars are great for breakfast on the runwhen necessary. There is such a good range you don\'t get bored. I did not stick to Diet Chef completely and still ate out sometimes, but did not put any weight on. I then wanted to lose another stone before having an operation in December which I did with Diet Chef. For me not having to weigh anything or count points etc is brilliant and I like to think I know how to eat healthily when not on Diet Chef. I will use Diet Chef again. Yes it is expensive if you are on a tight budget but for me it is worth it knowing that I it is a good balanced diet and I WILL lose weight. Looking forward to losing that third stone with Diet Chef. Good Luck! "

"Started diet chef September and have lost over a stone, i signed up for 3 months but lost my weight in 2 so i have kept my 3rd months supply for after Christmas. haven't been on the diet since November but have only put a couple of pound on. What i have found with this diet it has tort me about calories and portion size. the food is nice, lots of choice, portion size is small but you get used to that i found munching on celery between meals helps and drinking decaf coffee and low cal drinks. you should drink water but im not a water drinker so i tend to add sugar free squash to mine.So all you people out there who will be starting diets in the new year give this a go it does work if you stick to it."

For those who are thinking of starting some people will be losing a pound a week and not to give up if your not losing pounds like the others. I'm doing the vegetarian diet and out of all the diet foods it is the only one that gives you choice with the low calorie meal option than any supermarket."

I managed to stick to the diet with only a couple nights off and that perhaps is more a compliment to the menu than my willpower. Good quality food, suplimented with loads of fresh veg, stir fry in particular played a part. I would also advise anyone taking this diet on, you should also do some exercise, my vice is cycling and that also helped trim me up. 10 out of 10 for Diet Chef, and some good inspirational friends and family who helped me too. Was impressed with the amount of meals I could order (with me being a vegetarian) but was gutted the Tarka Dahl was out of stock so they had simply given me more of my other choices. The breakfasts and snacks are gorgeous!! So far my Tea meals have been good, I am not so sure about the soups, maybe I just need to get used to them. I have not felt hungry once even though the portion sizes are a lot smaller than i used to eat. Have not weighed myself since starting but have dropped a dress size and that is also starting to be too big. All the diets I've done in the past if I don't loose weight it gets me down so this time decided to go by my clothes for the first few months.will weigh myself before I reorder in Jan. I've been over weight for the last 15 years since having my third child, the weight just seemed to stay then get more and more. I did weight watchers a few years ok lost weight then put it and more back on.when I reached the big 40 in juke I decided enough is enough, I need to change my eating for good.not just a diet as we all know you loose weight come of the diet and wham the weight piles back on. Diet chef has proved to me eating often and smaller portions is the only way to do it. (I used to not eat a lot all day then have a large meal at night, not good. I know after diet chef has got me to my correct weight I'm not going back to being "big". This time I intend to keep it off forever.Good luck if you are starting out on your weight loss.my journey is far from over but I'm enjoying it.how many diets can you say that about xx "

"Id become sooo depressed with being unable to manage any diet I was attempting at that particular time being a working mum with a 2 year old and an 11 year old. I was really sceptical but desperate. Diet Chef has been wonderful. 12 days on I've lost 9lbs and am feeling very positive about the whole thing. I ordered one of everything to try, and seemed to dislike the 1st couple of meals, which worried me! Nevertheless the perseverance paid off and I think the foods fab. I try and match my menu with the family ie Curry when they have takeaways etc then I don't feel to be missing out. Surprisingly a lot of the meals that I thought I wouldn't be keen on are my favorites. I'd recommend the diet to anyone. "

Twelve months later we reached our target months ago and still on the diet because it is so nice just manage a few more calories and our weight is static. I've lost 8lb in the last month so now only 4lb to go. It's so easy. No thinking required as to what to eat today and I feel good. Thank-you Diet Chef."

"I have just completed my first week on Diet Chef and I have already lost 6lbs!! I can honestly say the food is surprisingly good, and even better when accompanied with Salad, veg or Rice as part of your allowance. When I don\'t have my milk for the day, I treat myself to an Activia Creamy yoghurt, and it is still within my allowance. The soups are nice and warming, and very satisfying, the breakfast bars, cookies are just devine. Also I am out on the road quite a bit now, so to have a shake instead is ideal, and they really do taste good. I am so excited about the next few weeks/months, as I kow I am going to get to my goal but also lern about true portion sizes, which will help when I return to eating my own cooked meals again. Well done Diet Chef!!"

"Well parcel arrived this week and I took the plunge on Thursday, so my second day on diet chef is coming to a close. I decided to add a comment as I have been considering this diet for over 4 months, I have previously lost 4 stone since last summer but gradually starting putting on the pounds. I liked the idea that everything was prepared for me and the only decision I needed to make after a hard day of teaching was what meal I had to choose. I know it's only me second day but so far so good, soups and evening meals are very tasty, honestly I can't say I nhavent been hungry but not nearly as bad as I thought I might be, will keep you informed of progress next Thursday after first weight in - fingers crossed!!!!!"

Meals are very good not found anything I don't like yet! Bit fed up with soup for lunch every day so just changed my menu to have a milk shake as a variation! See how that goes. Good Luck to you all xxx"

I'm enjoying the diet very much, like the variety of the food and am learning a lot about portion sizes. I feel very confident that I will keep to the diet at the moment. "Hi, into week 2 now having lost 5lbs in my first week. I have used ready meals in the past but with no success a) because they are expensive and not aways pleasant and b) the look that you get at the check out that always made me feel guilty and I never carried on but with DC all meals arrive discreatly, by courier, in secure boxes and its a bit like Christmas. The meals are lovely and many times I do not know that I am on a diet and missing out. I just prepare my family meals as usual and than have the same thing but use my DC meal instead, couldn\'t be simpler. I heat my soup up in a pan and if I am really hungy I fill approx 1/4 of the pouch with water, swill around and add to the pan with some extra veg from my extra. SSoups are so thick and creamy this does not lose the flavour!"

Although I\'m sure there\'s plenty of you about I appear to be one of the token blokes on this diet and wanted to report back that after just a week of following the Diet Chef programme I have lost nearly 9lbs. I\'m sure the experts would be screaming its not healthy to lose that amount of weight but its not that I have been starving myself. Every meal I have had has been more than enough to satisfy my hunger and for me the big winner is that I do not have to think about what I\'m going to eat - I come home to a huge choice of what has so far been delicious food. So lets hope I can report back in another couple of weeks time that my weight loss has continued and i\'m closer to my goal of losing 2 stone by Christmas."

It has been good to see the scales move lower each week and still feel full and look forward to the meals. I\'ve even had 2 meals out but it feels as if my stomach has shrunk, because my appetite is much smaller and I feel full more quickly. After next week get to reorder my second month\'s batch of food. I thought this would be tricky as a vegetarian but there is so much variety. Strong favourites are fruit and oat cookie, tomato soup, mushroom risotto, mixed bean pasta salad, vegetable lasagne and salt and vinegar popcorn!! Want to try and lose another 3llbs this week and focus on drinking more water than I do at the moment! "

To be honest I've been cheeky this week with the bag of crips here and a chocolate there - lol and the results speak to themselves. Week 1 when I was more disciplined and eating only what was on the plan I lost 5llbs. Week 2 and using my own 'creative license' to drift off and on the plan meant I lost only 1lb this week! This is obviously a strong wake up call and I will get straight back on the disciplined diet tomorrow. Truth be told I didn't even feel like eating the crips/chocs in hindsight.....Just a case of old habits die hard...... In any case I an still really pleased with the progress made in two weeks. My clothes feel looser, I have tons more energy, my skin is healthier and I generally have a 'feel good factor.' Here's to being disciplined and matching my first week's success for week 3! Megha "

Variety of product; real ingredients - I read the back of packets and these don't sound like a chemical formula; time saving; effective and very tasty - the biggest surprise is that I have my sense of taste back and these are good, tho some chicken meals are a bit "woolly". Economic too - all I now buy is milk, fruit and veg. I've also got back half my wardrobe - its like having gone on a very cheap shopping trip, cos they were all mine anyway. Have to say I am still hungry, often, but have to get used to that in order to keep the weight off after I stop doing DC full time - will probably continue on part time basis. Re-education of the stomach expectations, perhaps?"

Working shifts i find it difficult to eat properly, hence putting on alot of weight recently, but with this diet, grab it and go. i would often skip breakfast and certainly make up for it later in the day due to lack of time, now i grab a muesli bar and im off. I suppose i always made excuses for not sticking to previous diets, now i dont have an excuse and although its early days, for once i feel optimistic about dieting and the food is nice too. "

The food is very tasty on the whole....not too sure about the minestrone soup or mushroom strogonaff but that's probably personal taste than anything else and they are certainly edible.... Never been able to loose weight before and although slow (Relax a little at weekends!) I have now lost my 1st stone. Thyroid problem no longer a viable excuse. Can't wait for my next hamper to try the new meals added recently."

"Hi folks, well this is it. I finally ordered my 1 month pack. Have struggled forever with my weight, the chubby one in brownies, the fat one at senior school and now the obese one !!. I had the worlds worst year 3 years ago, losing my dad and a couple of really good friends. I became the best friend of MR Cadbury and MR Domino\'s and i think single handedly kept them in business. Now my health is suffering and i finally made the decision to stop bloody weighing food and counting points and just get on with my life but to do this I need to lose weight. DIet chef sounds ideal so come on folks Onwards and upwards. Will give it a month or so and come back and say how i am getting on. Good luck and best wishes to all on here.....xxxx"

Although the initial outlay is a lot of money to spend the food was delicious and I only had to buy fruit and some vegetables. I stayed on DC for two months and lost two and a half stone. I am no longer receiving hampers but DC has educated me on what and how much food I should be eating and I am still losing weight. DC was the best thing I have ever done."

My family still take me out on Saturdays for my steak and salad and couple of glasses of vino and have still lost, looking forward to next wk. The food is great and feels like not being on a diet, there were a couple of soups I did not like so DC gave me the option of changing my order for this month which i have done so. I am a very large lady and have a good 6 stone to loose, I now know I can do this thanks to DC food so if you are having second thoughts please give it a go, try a month and see the wait drop off. ": Hi, I have been on the Diet Chef diet now since 3rd August and have lost a stone, bringing my weight down to 14 stone. What is most remarkable is the fact that as from yesterday I have also been taken off my blood pressure tablets, which I started to take after my blood pressure escalated while piling on the pounds. There is still some ways to go, but I feel happy and motivated and really inspired to carry on to reach my target weight. I know dieting is all about eating smaller portions - but without you I would have never been able to stick to it during the first testing weeks. Thank You! "

"Been struggling with my weight, well, all my adult life. Find it really difficult when I\'m at work - so many temptations and lunch with colleagues. When my boss went away in the summer for 8 weeks I decided action had to be taken. Any future result is in my own hands. I ordered 2 months worth of diet chef and now he\'s back I have lost 15 lbs. Not as much as I\'d hoped to be honest, but the re-training of my brain and the ability to distinguish between actual hunger and appetite has been the biggest success for me. I\'m sticking to healthy eating - by having a soup at lunchtime and a small meal later in the evening. I cook up enough brown rice or wholemeal pasta to last a couple of days and keep it in the fridge so that as soon as I get home from work, I can sort my dinner out and not graze on unhealthy crisps etc. My favourite evening meal is the meatballs (yummy) and my favourite soup is the chicken mulagatawny - absolutely delish - I could eat it every day. Thanks to diet chef I am now on the path to success and I\'m very excited about where I will be in 3 or 4 months time. Don\'t hesitate - re-train yourself NOW."

The meals are superb and delicious with such a great choice you cannot possibly get bored. I lost two stone over the year and feel full of energy once again. One grea thing I took from being on this plan - portion size. I realised whilst on the diet that I can be full on smaller portions and I know with absolute confidence that I can continue with this once I come off the programme with no fear of putting the weight back on again - I have retrained my brain to eat sensibly. "Hello, I was lucky enough to take part in the very first Dietchef advertisement which involved testing the food and giving my opinion of it on film. I was so impressed that when my mum who is 84 was told by her doctor that she really should try and loose weight I suggested that she try it. She broke her neck 7 years ago and has had to use a wheelchair ever since to go out in, she weighed 15stone 81/2lbs when I started her on Dietchef just over a year ago and she has only 3 more pounds to loose and then she will have lost 3 stone. Myself, my husband and her doctor are all over the moon with what she has achieved so thank you Dietchef for making my lovely mum healthy and beautiful again."

"I was diagnosed wih Diabetes Type 2 in November last year. I was very overweight, and the doctor said try diet and exercise. I did 2 months of diet chef around February then left it for a bit. I had lost 2 stone and my blood sugar went to normal. I decided to go back on to diet chef last month to help lose a further stone. Although I had not put on wieght I hadn't lost much more without diet chef. Now I am steadily losing the pounds, I used to be a size 24, now I am a size 16! I do a lot of exercise, Nordic walking once a week, and go to the gym 3-4 times a week. I don;t think I would have acheived the weight loss without Diet Chef. Being diabetic I adding a little more carbohydrate to the main meal, and eat a wholemeal roll with the soups. But I feel I have been taught better portion sizes, and the meals have been tasty. Thank you Diet Chef. "

"My husband had a brain stem stroke in February this year and we thought he would die. He was paralysed and could only move his eyelids. when things had settled slightly my children told me that they felt they couldn't go through this again and encouraged me to loose weight and get fit. I ordered my first hamper to start the day my youngest daughter and her children flew back to Australia (18th March). As of 1st August I have lost 6inches off my hips, 5 inches off my waist, 3 inches off my bust and 2 inches off my neck. I was a size 22 in jeans and now my size 18's are getting slack. Just a couple of inches more off my midriff and I will be a comfy size 18. But I wont stop there. Thank you Diet chef. Also my husband has made remarkable progress and is now walking with a frame. "

Jeannie Pleban, 63, Norwich. 12 Aug 2011 11:08am

"Hi, am nearing the end of my third monthly hamper and have dropped 2 dresses sizes plus a little bit more and quite a lot of inches!! I work shifts of earlies, lates and nights and found it very easy to slot the food into my schedule. If I am on earlies, I have my breakfast before I go to work at 0430 with my diabetic medication, then I take a soup in and have it in a flask for lunch about 1030 (I work patrolling the motorways so do not have access to microwaves but the soups stay hot enough). Then I have my main meal in the evening and slot snacks and fruit in during the day. I do the same on late shifts but have my main meal before work at 1300 and then the soup at work in a flask again and on nights, I save the snacks and fruit for during the night! Being diabetic it has ensured my blood sugar levels remain more stable and so my GP is pleased too. The family comment on how good the meals smell and my husband has had a couple of the soups and loves them. My son drinks the milkshakes now that I don't need the extra calories and he loves them too."

"After many years of trying various diets with little or no success I started Diet Chef two weeks ago. I have lost 1st 4lbs so far. The food is delicious and if you combine it with enough water intake you will never feel hungry. The first few days were difficult but my body soon got used to the reduced calorie intake."

Gretl, 44, Southend. 9 Aug 2011 9:20am

"I started Diet Chef to lose weight for my 30th Birthday in September. I started at 14.6 and this morning I'm 12.1. I have 9 pounds to go to get to my original target which I set myself! Its a very easy diet to stick to which actually works, I've had so many failed attempts at different diets so Thank You Diet Chef! I will update you again when I get to a total loss of 3 stones!"

Becksie, 29, Leicestershire. 7 Aug 2011 3:15pm

"Have just recieved my first months batch of food ready to start tomorrow!! Am excited to finally (hopefully) lose weight, I have tried so many times! Lets see how I go :) "

Gemma, 21, Medway. 5 Aug 2011 10:28pm

"This diet is working for me. Have just reached my first 1 stone off - losing an average of 2lb per week- hope to lose at least 1 more stone before my holiday in September. Unfortunately I threw out all my too small clothes last year as I seemed unable to lose any weight. They would all have fit me now! Never mind - at least I look better in the nude than I used to!!"

Diane, 65, Bognor Regis. 5 Aug 2011 2:43pm

"I spent a few weeks deciding whether or not to try this. I'd been putting weight on for the last few years and despite going to the gym for the last year I wasn't eating properly and was just maintaining my weight -15 stone 13lbs. Decided enough was enough so thought I'd try it- the testimonials all looked positive and I probably spend the same if not more on food anyway so what did I have to lose? Well weight apparently! Been on the plan for 2 weeks and 4 days and have dropped a waist size, need to fasten the belt on the next hole now and am weighing in at 14st 9lbs today! Can't fault it at all. I had an extra kfc med meal with my friends on the first sat night and a burger and a sausage at a BBQ with my family on the first Sunday but come Monday morning- 1 week after starting I was already 8lbs lighter! Since then I have stuck to just the meals and snacks provided but feel I can have treats every now and again if I want to. I put my weight into the tracker via the website and it says I should be at my top end ideal weight, 14st 4lbs by this time next week. I'm so happy I tried this and would wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone who needs or want to lose some weight. I had questions to start with and emailed the staff and found them brilliant too! "

Rory, 33, Camberley. 4 Aug 2011 6:42pm

"I have been on Diet Chef since the end of May and have lost about 17lbs. I really like the ease, the variety and the portion control. Admittedly, the first week was hard - headaches, hungry - but now I don't even think about it. I'm nearly at my target weight. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone, especially as today I forgot to take my lunch and had to buy one from the highstreet - a whopping £8.55 for some salad, fruit salad and a bottle of water! I'm actually saving money by being on the plan. "

Steve, 41, London. 3 Aug 2011 11:03pm

"OK - so week one over. Food so far has been great and very easy. Weighed in this morning and lost 4lbs and 3in from my waist. Thanks DC"

Dee, 56, Bangor. 3 Aug 2011 9:43am

"Ok, day 2 and so far the food tastes impressive and I'm not really that hungry! If this diet makes me lose wight I will be ridiculouly impressed as nothing else I have ever tried has. I will post back later...."

Dominic Walters, 42, London. 2 Aug 2011 4:39pm

"I've been a single mum of 3 - now teenage children and have spent the last few years or living through the heartache of both my parents becoming ill and sadly passing away. Over time my weight has crept up from around 10 stone to 15 stone, leaving me with a bad back and knees that hurt from being on my feet for any length of time. Friends often tried to get me out and about and even lined up possible dates on occasion (!) but I used the weight gain as a a shield - who was going to love me if I didn't even love myself? Finally in May, after seeing photos taken at my birthday party I made the decision that the time was right to lose the weight. I wanted my smile to be real - not just put there for a photo. I searched online for a diet that sounded like it would suit me - and stumbled across Diet Chef. I did think about it for a week or two - it seems a lot of money to shell out in one go and I'm not ashamed to admit I was pretty nervous about it. But finally I took a chance and placed my order. I really need not have worried! Admittedly, when I opened that first packet of granola I wondered how on earth the tiny pile of grains was going to keep me going for more than half an hour. Fortunately the snack at mid morning did the trick! The soup and a roll at lunchtime was lovely and I really enjoyed the dinner. Wow! By the end of the day it really didn't feel like I was on a diet. Being on Diet Chef is easy. You still need some will power of course - but having tasty meals all there ready prepared for you helps to keep you on track. I'm amazed. The greatest thing being the weight loss. I have lost an average of 2lb a week, so 21lbs this morning (a very healthy level) and am on target to reach goal for the New Year. I already feel my confidence returning. I would recommend Diet Chef to anyone who wants to lose weight with the minimum of fuss. It really is no hardship being on this diet!"

Alison Barnett, 44, Royston, Herts. 1 Aug 2011 9:51am

"Cool! That's a cvleer way of looking at it!"

Caroline, beYhfSSqhOSLe, FJowAJpa. 31 Jul 2011 2:20am

"Well - I never thought I would give feedback on something like this. But I am amazed. I started 3 weeks ago at 12.7. This morning’s weigh in is 12.0. I love the food. (and boy am I fussy). My other half started at the same time as me, he has lost 9lb in 3 weeks, and like me, looks forward to our tea in the evening. I have been on various diets, but my down fall has always been portion size, (and cheese, pizza, pasta and chocolate :o) ). Like most I opened up the granola and laughed...but so long as you give it 30 minutes or so before looking for something else, it does actually satisfy you....the first week was slightly difficult, but I found having a coffee mid morning and afternoon helped a great deal. I have swapped the DC chocolate treats with a treat size kitkat, as they were the only thing I havent really liked All in all DC is great; I no longer have the bloated feeling or heartburn that I have been suffering from for years. Well worth it. "

Caz, 42, Milton Keynes. 30 Jul 2011 10:10am

"Having tried and sometimes even succeeded at loosing weight by other means I have always put it back on. Just about to start with DC and hoping to loose at least 1 stone maybe even 2. Going on a cruise at Christmas and want to look my best. Will keep you posted with my progress!"

Lynda Young, 63, Gateshead. 29 Jul 2011 4:13pm

"Started Diet Chef after seeing the advert on the TV. Been doing it now for 3 weeks and have lost from 10st 8lbs to 10st.1lb....7lb in such a short time!..Its easy to do no thinking about what you have to eat. The meals are amazing so tasty with lots of variety. So pleased i took the plunge and sent for my order. Still have a way to go but i know i will do with ease and and no worries. Thank you Diet Chef for great meals and support"

carole markwick, 63, reigate. 29 Jul 2011 3:32pm

"Well, here goes folks. Just starting. Placed my order and let's see what happens. Have just had a hysterectomy after a total knee replacement and a patello knee replacement. I have finally decided to tackle the weight now. Starting at 14st 8lb so looking forward to seeing how I go."

Snezzy, 55, Whitehill. 28 Jul 2011 2:08pm

"I've been doing Diet Chef on and off for a year now. I lost just over 3 stone and reached my target weight meaning I am now within my recommended weight. I still use Diet Chef as it keeps me eating a healthy diet, but lets me add on food that I want, go out for meals without feeling guilty, or having a couple of beers when I want. If it is possible to have a downside to Diet Chef, it's that I've had to buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes. Even then it's not so bad, I still get a smile when I buy Medium size clothes."

Simon Green, 43, Milton Keynes. 27 Jul 2011 4:42pm

"I need to lose a couple of stones for health reasons - blood sugar was too high, and knees were beginning to complain that it's like walking around carrying the equivalent of two 14lb bags of potatoes. Congratulations on excellent idea. Meals are delicious; there's no washing up, and there are no tempting left-overs in the fridge. So far so good - can I keep it up though !"

Tim, 69, Chorleywood. 27 Jul 2011 2:25pm

"weighing in a 16st and have tried all sorts of diets to no avail but expecting 2nd and 3rd grandchildren in Aug and Sept and really need to shift this weight si I can enjoy them all. After reading all the stories I am very hopeful DC will be the answer. Started this morning. Keeping my fingers crossed!"

Dee, 56, Bangor. 27 Jul 2011 1:29pm

"I was dubious about starting the D.C but now i have its making me lose some weight at last the meals and snacks are so lovely so i am not snacking on fat foods anymore is there anyone from portsmouth uk who would like to contact me to share each others progress"

joyce mannell, 74, portsmouth. 27 Jul 2011 10:31am

Monika, 61, Bantry. 24 Jul 2011 8:28pm

"Hi all, I have joined DC on 15th may 2011, 1 weight 15 st 9lbs, now just finish the 2nd hamper and the third hamper has just arrived, now i weight 13st 7lbs. I have tried lots of other diets, but this is the best, never felt hungry with DC. The meals are excellent and very tasty. For last 8 days I went on holiday and didn't have DC meals, but always ensure portion control is in place. By doing this I didn't put on weight but infact lost few lbs. I would advise this DC to everyone who always had a problem in losing weight. My daughter is going to join DC in August and I known she will be very pleased with the results......Thank you Diet Chef"

Prita Gondalia, 48, Hayes,Middx. 21 Jul 2011 2:35pm

"Second week with Diet Chef, finding it is getting easier and easier as time goes on. First week found I was hungry around 3pm but have started to gnaw on a few celery sticks and that has done the trick. Anyway - results are after 2 weeks I have lost 1 stone exactly and am finding myself already being able to walk further and faster without back pain which I had up until last week, it can only get better.... and once again I have got to say the food is yummy."

Ron Casey, 46, Mossley. 16 Jul 2011 9:45am

"hi everyone well ive just finished my 3rd week and i weigh myself tomorrow but ive had a sneeky look and it looks like ive lost 9ibs altogether im so pleased and it is easy to do .i cant wait to see my next delivery as i have chosen some new recipes.dont forget to drink the water as it really does work thanks dietchef your great."

irene, 47, staffordshire. 15 Jul 2011 6:56pm

"Hi Everyone, I just wanted to update on my success so far. Having tried to do the 'diet thing' with some success but got bored, hungry and fed up keep counting calories so I started diet chef 6 weeks ago. My weight was the heaviest I have been for 7 years (12 stone) I wondered if there was any diet that could help and guess what - there is. I am down to 10 stone 11lbs with virtually no effort on my part. I love the Korma and Massala and the fruity biscuits are lovely with a cuppa. I have given up sugar though and use sweeteners instead. I have gone out to dinner and birthday parties (indulged with wine/nibbles & cake). I am amazed that the diet still works but somehow it does. I still have my third hamper to go and am looking forward to my at home Indian meals. So whether you are just starting out or several weeks in like me - KEEP GOING it really does work."

Sue Martland, 46, Exmouth. 14 Jul 2011 7:36pm

"Been on the diet for 3 weeks now and 6lbs gone for good. Have cheated too with a wedding and 2 meals out in that time. Its so easy that my hubby is doing it too and has lost 5 lbs in his first week."

Sarah, 42, Nottingham. 14 Jul 2011 2:03pm

"hi, been using DC for over a week, have lost some weight but have lost more inches. most of the food is really good and very convenient, especially for busy singles. It's great being prepared and having a variety of healthy choices at my fingertips when i am hungry. Not felt particulary hungry or like i'm missing out on anything. lost 1.5ks in 10days and 4 inches from hips and waist. DC combined with exercise."

leigh, 49, glasgow. 11 Jul 2011 8:31pm

"Hi , I started one month ago today, during that time I had a week away in London, I thought it might be difficult to stick to the diet I had a couple of days that I went off the rails, but managed to stay the same that week, that alone was amazing -- so far I've lost 11.2 pounds, I would be happy with 1-1/2 stone weight loss -- I'am getting more determined with each pound that comes off . I'am so loving the food, apart from the breakfast, I'am not a milky person, but the Lunch and Dinners plus snacks are fantastic, I do add my veg and fruit, --- watch this space !! "

June Koch, 61, Falmouth. 10 Jul 2011 12:36pm

"Thank you Diet Chef, i have been on the diet for 2 week now and lost 9 lb so far, the food is wonderful so tasty, i'm not hungry at all Diet Chef is so easy to do, all the hard work is done for you. Cant wait to lossing all my weight and keeping it off Thank you once again"

"I've been doing diet chef for a litthe over 1 month, i have been good most of the time but have still enjoyed my social life with barbeques and wine. i have lost 10lb, which is the most i have ever mangaed without becoming totally miserable. i can already fit back into some of my old smaller cloths and i find it really easy to do with a family, i still cook vegatbles with somthing for them and i have the veg with the dite chef meal. The most amazing thing for me is that i havent given in yet."

jenny, 36, norwich. 8 Jul 2011 10:15pm

"I started using Diet Chef since the 17.6.11 and so far I lost 5kg already. I need to lose about 20 kg more, but I don't like cooking small amounts of food and only for myself. I work in a hotel and get my meals free there. But that food is usually very rich and plenty on the plate. I just received my next order, the first of my 3 month order. I find DC food tasty and I do not feel hungry on this diet. I was on diets before. Some worked for a while but not for long. I hope that DC will help me to get used to eating smaller portions in future to keep my weight down. Thanks to DC and keep up the good work. Monika"

Monika, 61, Bantry/Ireland. 8 Jul 2011 12:25am

"hi ,im on my second week and its only wednesday and ive lost 6ibs already its great thank you diet chef .i cant wait for satarday to see what ive lost at the end of my second week its very good and suits me ."

Bev, 46, Hertfordshire. 6 Jul 2011 7:44am

"I have been on so many diets that just dont work, or I cant get motivated. So I read up on DC and it sounded perfect for me to lose weight, but to enjoy food still and they do it all for you! Plus it will help teach me portion sizes and how to deal with eating out etc. I started last Saturday and am loving the diet. Lots of variety and the food is lovely especially the dinners! I am very motivated and I cant wait to get on the scales on Saturday to see the results of my first week. I shall fill you in then. Keep up the good work everyone!"

Sarah, 31, Kent. 5 Jul 2011 11:34pm

"I have heard about diet chef from a friend who highly recommended it. I started a week ago and lost 5lbs in my first week. I really enjoy the granola breakfasts and although I initially thought the portion was very small it actually fills me up until lunch. I add green salad or a portion of vegetables to evening meals and find it very filling. I am hoping to lose 2 stone before my holiday the beginning of October. I am sure I can achieve this as I dont feel I am actually on a diet. I will keep you posted with my next weigh in on Thursday. "

Kath Drummond, 45, Staines. 3 Jul 2011 7:22pm

"Hi, this is my first week on DC. I wieghed in at 13st and have around 3.5stones to lose. I was pretty impressed by the food, it tastes fresh and is incredibly convenient. I tend to cook formyself it gets a bit tricky actually cooking. DC makes a treat - stocked up in veg to have with main meals and yogurt to have with breakfast - never been big on breakfast - but all the choices are there. i feel like I have lost weight, definately have more energy and with the snacks available not worrying about my sweet tooth. so far best meal beef and ale - didn't like the lasagne. but loads of choices and all the soups are great."

leigh, 49, edinburgh. 1 Jul 2011 5:30pm

"hi everyone i started dc last satarday was day one im coping quite well .have stopped drinking just on the squash and 2 litres of water which is helping my hunger pains as it fills me up.the food is great .i have fruit as well .ive got a long way to go but cant wait for saturday to get on the scales.will let you know nxt wk how ive got on ."

irene , 47, staffordshire. 30 Jun 2011 7:49pm

"I have been on diet chef for 6 weeks & have lost over a stone already. I live on my own, so could never be bothered to cook for just me when I got home from work. The meals are all really tasty & filling & I am eating more now than I did before I joined (how great is that?!). It's great value for money & so convenient. I have already had a lot of comments from people who have noticed my weight loss & have been shopping for new (much smaller) clothes! Thanks diet chef, I'm now well on the way to a new, happier me."

Linda, 48, Exeter. 28 Jun 2011 10:50am

"i started diet chef in January 2011 and have lost 3 stones, this diet is amazing and has really been my savior, i have tried every diet under the sun and lost a few pounds here and there then got fed up with all the meal planning and calorie counting . with diet chef it takes the stress out of wondering what you can have for your meals, i just put my hand in the box and there it is :) the majority of the food is wonderful and very very filling, i have never once felt hungry. thank you diet chef, i have got my happy life back and i am a new woman because of you x"

clare lawler, 38, liverpool. 27 Jun 2011 3:18pm

jane moran, 58, birmingham. 25 Jun 2011 9:19am

"I started Diet Chef in January and lost 1 stone in my first month. I then stopped doing it and unfortunately over the last 4 months I have gained that stone! I am now starting Diet Chef again and need to lose 2 stone in total! Diet chef was so easy to stick to and I am so annoyed with myself for giving up after 1 month! Reading the success stories is so encouraging!! Fingers crossed I will stick to it this time...."

Gemma, 32, Leicestershire. 21 Jun 2011 12:29pm

"Hi I was a size 22 trouser and top at the start and from the 1st of february 2011 to the 19th June 2011 I have gone from a size 22 trouser and top to a size 14 standard size trouser or a size 12 loose trouser and a size 16 top and I weighed 15 stone 12 3/4 pounds at the start and I have lost 66 3/4 pounds and now weigh 11 stone 2 pounds. I still have another 17 1/2 pounds to loose before I get to my goal weight and before my brothers wedding in October. " Louisa 29, Cambridgeshire 19th June 2011 at 16:08 pm " "

LOUISA, 29, Longstowe, Cambridgeshire. 19 Jun 2011 5:06pm

"I started diet chef when I was 13stone 10pounds. I thank diet chef for their wonderful diet! I have had a really good journey and have learnt alot about myself and relationship with food. Unfortunately I've had to cancel my order because I now weigh 8stone 13pounds. I haven't been in the 8stones since I was like 10. As I am a singer it was imperative that I lost the weight and I tried every diet under the sun but nothing works like diet chef. I wish I would post before and after pics coz the difference is out of this world. If your thinking of doing this diet, do it! You will! Lose weight and learn about portion sizes. Dnt get me wrong it is hard at times but it is worth it, losing weight is never the easiest Ride, but diet chef is the easiest it is going to get. Thank you diet chef! "

Vicky, 24, Brean. 19 Jun 2011 4:09pm

"I am just completing my second week of this amazing diet. The food exceeds all expectations. So much so, that If I had been dished up this food in a restaurant, I would have returned. Never had so much fun on a diet. I lost 9lbs in the first week and know for sure I have lost moire this week."

alison read, 52, newbury. 17 Jun 2011 9:25pm

"I've been on Diet Chef for just over two weeks now, I have about 1and a half stone to lose in total. I lost 3 pounds in the first week and felt better all over. My hair and skin looks better and I feel less bloated. I didnt lose anything in week 2 but have maintained the loss from the first week and still feel good! I did fall off the wagon on both weekends so this may have slowed my progress! I've already decided what meals I don't like and have adjusted my final hamper with my favourites! Hope I reach my target weight soon!"

Rose, 28, Cambs. 16 Jun 2011 1:51pm

"I need to lose weight for my son wedding in September I've been on diet chef for just over 3 weeks and loss 9 and half pounds the food is delicious love the popcorn I got 3 stone to lose and I'm hoping to lose 2 stone for the wedding let you now how I get on."

ann, 55, walsall. 12 Jun 2011 9:20pm

"I have just completed my first week on diet chef and lost an amazing 9lb (despite having a major blip on day 5!) I have tried every diet under the sun and i am really hopeful that this could be the one for me. As a hectic single mum working full time, the time to organise healthy meals required on other diets just was not working for me - with DC all the organisation is done for me. Still another 4 stone to go but i am sure its acheivable!"

Gill, 42, Fareham. 12 Jun 2011 8:25pm

"Thank you very much Diet Chef, I have just lost nearly 4 stone on your diet. I am very pleased that I have finally reached my ideal weight after trying many different diets which did not work for me. I now am going shopping for a complete new wardrobe."

Sue Pease, 63, Lee. 11 Jun 2011 9:50am

Rashida , 41, Sunderland. 9 Jun 2011 8:43pm

"After trying numberous diet's and yoyoing up and down i decided to try Diet Chef. Im amazed ive found a diet that is realistic and the food is delious! I've loving every step of the way and have managed to loose 7lb's in just over two weeks. "

Noreen, 39, Bradford. 8 Jun 2011 2:20pm

"In my first week I lost 5lb and was really encouraged by that, although I lost nothing in the second. Having been away for a weekend and slightly induldged in a few glasses of wine and a takeaway I did not expect to have lost anything by the end of the third week - but amazingly I'd lost another 3lb!! This diet is so easy for me as a single person with a busy lifestyle because I can get in from work and spend just 5 minutes in the kitchen preparing my evening meal - and not even having to worry about calorie or point counting. It's great."

Beverley, 51, Swindon, Wilts. 8 Jun 2011 8:28am

"I have only started dc two days ago and have 6 stones to lose! I have to say the food so far has been excellent. My portions were way out of control so i love the fact that it's all done for me. I had just been to a diet seminar that advised 3 milk shakes and a soup per day for months!!!!!!, needless to say i prefer the diet chef way. Real food and no suffering, Thank you diet chef. "

jan, 50, Birmingham. 7 Jun 2011 1:25pm

"I am a very fit individual, I went into hospital in November last year and had to spend 3 months doing no exercise. As a result I put on aver a stone in weight. When I started doing exercise again I found that I could maintain my weight but couldn't get it down. A friend at work was trying Diet Chef and said it was great so I thought I'd give it a go. It's been brilliant, I haven't ever felt hungry, the food is fantastic and I'm saving a fortune (I would typically spend 6-12 Pounds on my lunch each day). I've lost 10 pounds in four weeks. A few pounds to go but I've got some meals left as I often skipped a day at the weekend and ate out."

Rob Woods, 40, Clifton, Bedfordshire. 7 Jun 2011 11:24am

"I have been on diet chef for just over 2 weeks, and on my first weigh in (after 5 days) I had lost 6lb which I found amazing. Diet chef is great as it really makes you aware of portion sizes, and as long as you top up the meals with vegetables and fruit you really don't go hungry. This is the firs diet in years which has shown instant results, I am hooked and now feel my weight loss is achievable!"

Tabitha, 30, London. 6 Jun 2011 8:30pm

"I have been on diet chef now for 4weeks and i have lost a stone in weight already, ordered my 2nd hamper and im very happy with the results so far :) Good luck to everyone else."

Christine-Anne, 19, Newton Abbot. 5 Jun 2011 2:10pm

"Hello! Just finished my first week on "Diet Chef". I must admit that on my first day of the diet I suffered a lot, I wasnt used to eating so much in one day and eating smaller portions. My usual day to day routine ended up with two big meals and a lot of junk food at night. After my first day on the diet there was no stopping me, I got used to the smaller food portions and didnt have to hit the cupboards for fatty snacks, because I knew that the two portions of fruit and one the Diet Chef snacks would get me through the day along with my meals. The food is great, with a wide variety to choose from, how ever I will admit that I wasnt keen on some of the food that I had picked. I am looking forward to my next hamper though because I can then choose what I havent already tried with there being such a wide variety and the foods I already like from this hamper. I would recommend diet chef to anyone and I didnt think Id be saying this after my first week on the diet because I disbelieved I would even shed a pound. In total over seven days on the diet I have lost a total of 9 pounds! In one week and I am very shocked and so pleased and it has given me the kick I need to continue on this diet. Sticking to diet chef will help me lose the weight in no time! I am so happy and I cant wait to weigh myself next week to see how much Ive lost then! Thanks Diet Chef "

Sammy, 18, Cardiff. 2 Jun 2011 2:33pm

"I have been on Diet Chef for 4 weeks now. I have lost 13lbs and I am feeling great. I have lost a few inches from all over and the food tastes really nice. In fact I am probably eating more often than I was before but it is in the right quantities therefore I feel full all the time. I am very happy with Diet Chef and I would recommend it to anyone. Another 18lbs to go and I am there!!!"

"Hi All, this is my second time to comment, I must admit I love reading how everyone is doing, It is really encouraging. I lost 9lb in the first week, nothing in the second. a bit dissappointed but 9lb in one week I think was exceptional. I am still feeling hungry and struggling a bit, I knew I was a big eater, but it just prooves now how much I was really eating, I am not giving up on this I want to succeed, Each day is a challenge but it is all worth it, iI dont think I could do this without Diet Chef"

I've struggled with dieting, like most people, but I'm finding that the excellent variety of meals means that I'm not getting bored at all. Really feel very positive about this.. I might even manage actually to succeed at this! Very positive."

Kate, 53, Warrington. 29 May 2011 10:18pm

"I've been trying to lose weight for the past 2 years, I've tried everything, the usual story! Willpower was my biggest problem. I saw the advert on TV for DC and decided to investigate a little more. After seeing the fab choice of foods on offer and reading some of the success stories I was ready to buy my 3 month package. Today is day 7 and I have to say, I feel like a new woman already, I've lost 11lb! DC is so easy to follow and delicious. Bring on week 2."

sara, 41, yorkshire. 25 May 2011 8:51pm

"I think I am dreaming! Today was day 5 of Diet Chef. I promised myself that I wouldn't weigh myself until day 7 however if I am going to lack will power on this diet it would appear this is what I am likely to give in to, and so I weighed myself today. And according to my WII Fit body assessment I have lost 6lbs already! I almost don't believe it as other than a little bit of hunger on days 1 & 2 this diet has been the easiest thing ever. Today I have had no hunger at all except at appropriate times (just before lunch and dinner time). I swear I am dreaming."

Rae, 35, London. 23 May 2011 9:18pm

"I started just befor Christmas last year weighing 14stone,my husband was ridiculing me for getting diet chef saying it was rubbish and a waist if money and that I could buy the food cheaper in the supermarkets etc but when he saw the weight drop off me he changed his tune and asked if he could go on it as well,he was 19 stone at the time , so I ordered another hamper ,the first week was hard and I did feel hungry a few times but after the first week you get used to eating less and the hunger stops, the food is lovely, and we are really enjoying our meals,Diet Chef certainly shows you the correct size portions you are supposed to eat ,to date my husband is down to 15st 7lbs and I am 11st.we can't thank you enough ,we have struggled with our weight for years trying one diet after another but never sticking to any of them.with diet chef you don't have the problems of what food to buy , what to eat , how to cook it, what portion size , its all been done for you.and we are eternally grateful,"

Kim, 52, Tring. 17 May 2011 8:40pm

"Hi i was very skeptical about using this internet site especially for food until i saw your advert on tv which installed my confidence. I also spoke to your chat room service and asked a lot of questions before i decided to order my food and found this very helpful. The biggest thing i have learnt is portion control and although i have had meals outside of this diet, i actually couldnt manage the size and it didnt even taste the same. Your meals are very nice i have lost 11lb in 3 weeks and am drinking plenty of water. My skin has cleared up and my bloatedness is going. I feel great, i hope that i can continue with this diet, i have noticed my shopping bills are minimal. Thank you Diet Chef and will keep you posted i have another 2st to lose!"

Jo, 39, Cheshunt. 17 May 2011 8:58pm

Julie Noble, 40, Southampton. 16 May 2011 9:30pm

"I stumbled across the Diet Chef website as I was searching for a diet that allowed solid food and hopefully did all the dreaded calorie counting for you. I have booked my first holiday for quite a while and wanted to shift just a little of the extra weight I'd piled on after some personal problems. I am a really fussy vegetarian but I found more than enough options for each meal, by the way the carrot and butterbean soup is delicious and so filling. Only on day 5 but I feel amazing, no hunger pangs and no usual bloated stomach!!! 5.4lbs lost already, that is incredible....bring on the beach! "

"Thank you so much Dietchef - I have lost 10lbs in the first 2 weeks without feeling hungry! My husband is working away for 3 months so it seemed the ideal time to try Dietchef and save having to cook for just one. having tried a variety of meals and snacks in the first month I have now been able to pick what I really prefer for the second month. Brilliant idea and really good meals."

Hilary, 62, Bala. 20 Apr 2011 7:35am

"I am delighted with Dietchef. I have struggled for years in a yo-yo weight pattern. My husband is working away for 3 months so it seemed the ideal time to try Dietchef and save having to cook for just one. In the first two weeks I have lost 10lbs and not felt hungry at all. The meals are excellent and so easy to prepare so there is no temptation to eat too much. As there is no bread or anything else to tempt in the house I have been able to stick to the meals and snacks alone. After the first month of trying a variety of meals and snacks, I now know what I prefer and can alter my next month's supply accordingly. Thank you so much for this great idea and for the good food!"

Hilary, 62, Bala. 20 Apr 2011 7:32am

"Hi, I've just had my first week on DC. I was astounded to find I'd lost 10lbs.I've just come out of hospital, after knee replacement, so thought it would be a good time to start. I love the fact that everything is ready for me with no preparation to do at all. I'm now looking forward to getting on the scales at the end of this week.Good luck to all new starters like me, hope you have the same pleasing results."

Lynn, 54, Bletchley. 19 Apr 2011 8:56pm

"First hamper has now arrived, so tomorrow will be the first day. The scales are saying 16st 6lbs, the Doctor is saying high cholestorol & high blood pressure. I am saying enough is enough... Lets see what this month will bring - fingers crossed."

Debbie, 50, Buckinghamshire. 19 Apr 2011 7:30pm

"In 5 months I have reduced my weight from 12st. 10 lbs to 11st.1 lbs and I feel marvellous. I do not need a stick anymore and have upped my days at the leisure club from 2 to 3 per week. When people remark on my weight loss I recommend them to look into the Diet Chef web site to see if it would help them.It has made me reconsider my eating habits as I don't want to go back to where I was. Many thanks to your diet system it was certainly the best one I have tried."

wendy stock, 69, leicester. 19 Apr 2011 5:17pm

"Have just done my first week weigh in and have lost four pounds - have only felt hungry a little here and there and I haven't really thought about food too much - and I got to go out and treat myself to a meal in a restaurant and have a glass of wine just by knowing what I had eaten that day. Love the granolas and the delicious evening meals! Will try to keep extra good for my second week to see how it goes- but am so far excited as this is the first thing I have stuck to for more than, what? a day? in a very long time. Goodluck everyone! x"

Catherine, 23, St. Leonards. 19 Apr 2011 4:14pm

"When I started with Diet Chef I had tried many diets without success. Have booked Christmas Cruise I need to loose at least 2 stone (other wise with all that food on board I would have been in an even worse position than I already was) I started back in November and lost 1st 8lb by the 19th December. After the Cruise I had gained some of that back but started the diet on January the 4th and have reached my target by end of Feb 2011. I find the food so nice that I have decided to stay on the diet and just increase my calory intake to suit my needs. My partener, soon to be my husband, has been on the diet with me and is more than happy to stay with me its simply fabulous food. My sister has used the diet chef and is so pleased with the 2 stone she has lost since 4th Jan too. "

Lesley Williams, 62, Telford. 19 Apr 2011 1:21pm

"Been overweight my whole life apart from mid 30's when the 'Univite' diet came out. Managed to get down to the right weight with that but didn't keep it down. Couldn't diet with food because I hate cooking, I hate veg and once I started to eat I couldn't stop. However, food delivered to the door? 2 minutes to cook? no shopping, no thinking what to eat? Decided to give it a go and am highly impressed! Lost more weight than I wanted so had to put the brakes on for a bit and eat rice/pasta/potato to slow it down. I was a chocolate junkie and I was given a bar last weekend. I threw it in the bin....... Now that's a diet that works."

Val, 60, Bradford. 19 Apr 2011 11:37am

"My Mum lost 7lbs in a week, a stone in a month and 2 and a half stone in total with DC! She looks fantastic for her age anyway and even better now she has shed the excess weight. I too have battled with my weight. Though I'm only young, I have been 2 stone over and 2 stone underweight in my life. Since going to University, I am not currently overweight but would like to be lighter; so combining a curiosity and determination towards DC with moral support for my Mum, I am trying out DC for myself! The food is yummy and from what I've seen, it is a healthy and balanced way to lose weight! Low calorie meals made with real food that taste great - what more could you ask for!?"

Faye, 19, North Yorkshire. 19 Apr 2011 12:53am

"Well I started DC two weeks ago and thought I'd struggle like mad. I have 8 stone to lose thanks to 10 years of permanent steroids - which I'm still on but heyho I'm giving it a go!! The food I have to say is Fantastic - I worried the portions wouldn't be big enough and as I have a low sugar level have to keep taking sugar in my drinks but that is covered by the extra 300 calories a day I can have due to ordering the 1200 per day food. The first week I lost 8lb I was so pleased I text everybody and they were all so supportive. Last week I lost 3lb which was probably about right but I did feel a little deflated after last week but I am determined to stick with it. Let's face it people the food is so good it's hardly a hardship is it. I'll keep you all posted on how I do this week."

Sharon, 48, Willerby. 18 Apr 2011 11:18pm

"Want to shape up for the cricket season to get back in my team. Started on: 7th Feb 2011 at 14 st 5 lbs. Today on: 18th Apr 2011 I am at 13 st 1 lb. Want to get down to 12st. So just over half way to my target weight loss. Man at 50."

Praful, 50, Milton Keynes. 18 Apr 2011 1:20pm

"I started on the 21 January and I was 23 stone 7 lbs ^f 4ins. I now weigh 21 stone and hopefully on my weigh down to 18 stone. I highly recommend Diet Chief to all fattys I meet. The food is very good and I never feel hungry. It is so easy to follow. I currently lose 3.5 lbs a week. "

Roger Parker, 56, llandeilo. 18 Apr 2011 12:13am

"I started diet chef on the QVC TSV in January when I weighed 17stone 5lbs, It was the 4 month programme and month 4 has just arrived. I set myself a long term target of losing 6 stone and thought it would take a good year but I am pleasantly surprised, as latest weigh in reads 14 stone 9lbs so 4lbs off the half way point. I was very skeptical but how nice to be proved wrong. As my QVC deal is now ending I look forward to selecting my own choices and continuing for another few months! "Started diet chef as I put on a lot of weight after my two children there's only 14 months between them so I didn't get chance to lose weight after my first baby then it piled on through my pregnancy and after! 6 months after my second I decided to try diet chef and it really works!! I have lost 13lb in 4 weeks! Nearly a stone :) I aim to lose another stone and a half and then I'll start planning my wedding :) "

Vicki, 22, Derbyshire. 11 Apr 2011 8:58pm

"I started Diet Chef ten days ago. For the first two days I found I needed to adjust to the portion sizes, but found drinking water really helped. Since then I have not found this diet to be a struggle at all. In fact I look forward to the meals as they are very tasty. I have lost four and a half pounds so far, and am delighted! Would recommend to anyone!"

"Thought I was fat all my life but now I know that was in my head - because NOW I'm fat!! Tried and yo-yo'd before so was resigning myself to being large and being proud of it. But I'm not proud of it, I can't pretend I am. I'm sick of being as big as I am and so here I go again - this time with DC (I always thought that it would be so much easier if someone just presented me with the day's food and said 'Eat this and nothing else'! thanks DC!) At the heaviest I've ever been and todays the first day of the rest of my life!! Watch this space..."

"Dear Gill, just read your post, just enjoy DietChef,it works. If I'd have discovered it when I was your age I'd have been a spring chicken much earlier, opular myth has it that at my age you can't shift the heft, but it disapearing.DC works on so many levels, not least in my head, NO shopping, NO cooking, NO cooking for one, NO hassle, just add milk, salad, green veg, fruit, and observe a waist replace the michelin tyre. It really makes one THINK about all the stuff surrounding food/treats/go on spoil yourself? I SPOILED right enough. If you want the numbers; 96 to 87 Kilo in six weeks. Weight has been the burden of my life, soon I will have zapped it and will have to rethink all the rest, because with a different body, comes a different life. WOW."

Jenny, 67, Brussels. 8 Apr 2011 1:51pm

"Well, here we go - First hamper arrived today. Willpower arrived beginning of last week when I tipped the scales at 13 stone 9 pounds. Over last few years with a busy work life the pounds have piled on and the clothes size have crept up. Have a stomach that makes me look 4 months pregnant and at 57, that's not good.Liked he success stories on diet chef, let's hope mine will be one of them in a few months time."

Gill, 57, Isle of Wight. 7 Apr 2011 11:07pm

"I have been on DC for now is the 6th week and it does work. I have lost 21 lbs in that time and even though i am on this diet it has not stopped me going out with my friends at the weekend drinking and also in that time I have also been away for 2 weeks (which I put 7 lbs back on) So if I had not have gone away maybe I would have lost 28 lbs. Very sceptical at first but it works."

Mark, 42, Birmingham. 7 Apr 2011 3:29pm

"Over the years my weight steady increased from 14stones until in january this year I topped 17st 7lbs. I was having problems with my health, taking pain killers every day for pains in the legs. My wife signed me up for Diet Chef. I am now down to 14st 7lb and pain free, have stopped taking pills and feel %100 better. Have not felt hungry whilst on the diet. Told my daughter and now she and several friends have joined. The only diet that has worked for me."

Earl Bailey, 54, London. 4 Apr 2011 9:51pm

"I started with Diet Chef last week and had my first weigh-in today I lost 8 lbs can't believe it. I will say that I have enjoyed everything that I have had to eat so far. I want to lose 2 stone by end of June and three by October so I will update you again."

Lorraine, 54, Bristol. 4 Apr 2011 6:33pm

"I started diet chef on 1st April because I lead a really busy lifestyle - I work full time and own my own business which I run part time. My husband cooks (very well I might add hence my predicament) and I can't expect him to cook two meals as he doesn't have weight to lose. Diet Chef is perfect for me because I need convenience. I am surprised at how good the food is. I am not a foodie and so am happy with simple, but I really think you'd have to be a huge food snob to dislike the food you get with this diet. I want ultimately to lose 3 stone, but right now, my target is 2 in time for a surprise in June - if I can manage all 3 before then, I will be doing a very big happy dance!"

Vicki, 38, Bristol. 4 Apr 2011 1:48pm

"Hi, coming up to my twelve week on DC on Tuesday so far lost 3 stone 12 pounds, feel so much happier, and my husband tells me I am looking good, he works away during the week and comes home weekends and he say's he can notice a difference everytime he comes home. just 1 and half stone to go. This is the first diet that has really worked for me, I love the meals they taste great thank you so much DC. "

MARIA DUNBAR, 46, Aboyne. 2 Apr 2011 8:29pm

"I have been sticking with diet chef since mid January, I have now lost 3 Stones, gone from a 42" waiste to a 36" and still loosing. With quite a hectic life it suits me fine the food is good the only issue I have is people are now stealing my dinners!! I am rerally impressed with everything about Diet Chef and would highly recommend it to anyone that doesnt have the patience to sort the cooking out for themselves it is so easy!! "

Kevin Millroy, 52, Worcester Park, Surrey. 1 Apr 2011 9:43pm

"Hi all, have just got my free profile and am looking forward to starting with DC. Having lost my beloved husband last year I binged on foood and alchol and gained 3 stone very quickly. "Hi members, today I am sat here on my laptop exercising my fingers as I appear to have got myself attached to the settee. I have made the decision to commit to the monthly pack also get a free week, hey ho! watch this space, ive got an invite to a posh wedding in july and would luv a nice new outfit. "Hi everyone, this is a follow up to part one of my Diet Chef journey. I am now 8 weeks into my 2011 challenge of losing 6 stones and am very excited to share with you that I have lost 2 stones exactly. Today I managed to buy a top in a size 18 (previously 26-28) and a dress in a 14-16 which granted was stretchy but it didn't look awful on me. I cannot describe the happiness I am feeling right now, its like I have this sunshine just bursting out of me and I can't help grinning to myself at just how well I am doing. I have made loads of new friends on the Facebook Diet Chef site who are equally doing as well as me and we all feel the same way. A friend said to me yesterday... " Gor I'm so jealous" I said... " Don't be jealous, just be inspired" I think she took that on board and went away to sort out her own self. Thankyou Diet Chef, you have turned my whole existence around and to you I so grateful. I hope anyone who reads this is also inspired and goes on to achieve great things. This is not an easy challenge though it does get easier every week but I look forward to sharing part 3 of my journey with you in the near future. Good Luck everyone. :)"

Amanda, 43, Barnard Castle. 18 Mar 2011 4:36pm

"I have been on diet chef one month and have as of today lost my first stone if I can do this anyone can the food. Is so tasty and the maple popcorn is so yummy"

Michelle, 44, Haverforwest. 4 Mar 2011 8:54pm

" On my second month of DC and I am really enjoying the meals which are quite filling. I have OA and because of this I can only do light excerises as my joints are painful. Another two pounds and I have lost a stone which is great. I have tried lots of diets and although I have lost weight it gradually comes back as I never ate breakfast and missed lunch which made me crave sugar. Now I enjoy all my meals and the weight is coming off weekly. Good to all."

Catherine, 58, Leeds. 4 Mar 2011 1:20pm

"Got weighed this morning following my first week on DietChef and have lost 7lbs. I have followed it exactly and haven't found myself being hungry as I was very concerned about being hungry when I first saw the size of the meals, I've just bulked them up with vegetables/fruit and as I need to have more calories to eat than the 1200 I've added a bit of rice/pasta/potatos too. Roll on the other 2stone 6lbs. I'll keep you informed of my progress as I go on. Good Luck"

Alison Howard, 37, Sheffield. 3 Mar 2011 12:24pm

"The first 12 days of diet chef guided eating suggests it is a regime that works - I suspect mainly because, unless you are eating out or visiting friends or family, it is so easy to follow. I am grossly overweight and had given up dieting because my experience had shown me that ever since I was a young adult I put on about 7 lbs each time I dieted. It isn't the getting it off that is hard, it's the keeping it off! We'll have to see with this regime. However the initial result, 15lbs in 12 days are prmising and the hunger pains are kept at bay. Good luck everyone. Work hard and eat sparingly. David"

David, 67, Calne. 2 Mar 2011 8:46am

"Hi I am just starting my second hamper, so far I have lost 15lbs with another 17lbs to go. I cant explain how easy it has been with DC. The food is tasty and filling, my son has tried to nick a few dinners but I am very predatory towards them. I have tried other diets and although I have lost weight it has gone back on very quickly. DC is re-educating my brain and stomach to be happy with smaller portions and no snacking. I know that I will hit my goal weight and that the weight wont return. To any one wary of trying DC - what have you got to lose? Get the 28 day hamper, receive healthy food which is probably cheaper then what you would have spent anyway. ENJOY! "

Prill Lloyd, 48, Canterbury. 2 Mar 2011 6:41am

"I have been married 4 months and put on alot of weight from being so happy.... i needed to do something! Diet Chef caught my eye all the stories are amzing I ordered my first hamper and I feel so positive already I will give you posted. "

Hayley Yallop, 24, Norwich. 1 Mar 2011 8:49pm

"I hit 14 stone before Christmas and wanted to try something different in order to lose some weight, Dietchef meals are so handy for people on the go like me, I have lost 12Lbs since the new year and it doesn't feel as though I'm on a diet, just eating properly with the chef prepared meals.Looking forward to reaching my target of 12 & a half stone... "

Ian, 47, Rochford, Essex. 1 Mar 2011 5:48pm

"Ok - I've taken the plunge, I don't even know how much I weigh. For me I don't go for the 'I've lost 6lbs this week' malarkey - I find that obssessive and it just doesn't work for me. I haven't weighed myself in over 10 years, what I do know is that I need to lose weight. My goal is just to lose weight and feel better, I don't care how many pounds I lose as long as I look and feel better. I'm giving Diet Chef a go for at least two months, and if I feel and look better then I'll carry on. Good luck my fellow foodies!"

Heather, 49, Worcester. 24 Feb 2011 8:20pm

"For a while i have been trying to find the right diet for me, I tried meal replacement diets and fad online diets but there was nothing I could stick to. "I just had to leave a message to say how pleased i am with Diet Chef, i have now been on it for two weeks and its great as i don't have to think about what I'm going to eat. Which was a problem as i work different shifts every day and now i just grab my food and some fruit and its sorted. Thank you so much I'm losing weight and feeling great :)"

Tracy, 36, Lincolnshire. 18 Feb 2011 6:29pm

"Hi there! I'm probably no different than a lot of you reading this page. I embarked on a massive diet through a competitor weight loss program and on 500 calories a day I lost 6 stone! Problem was when I tried to reintroduce food into my life I couldn't control it and when the group disbanded due to the rising cost of the program I was left struggling. I soon regainged half of my wirght loss and as I work pretty much alone and travel all over the region it has been really hard to get back on track. I couldn't afford to buy the old diet plan so decided this was worth a go as it seemed like regular food. How right could I be! It arrived one Saturday and I couldn't hide the size of the boxes from my mum who was also struggling since retirement. I said I would be the guinea pig and try it first but when I lost 9lb in the first week she soon became a believer! I am in week 4 and lost 13lb so far and mum is in week one looking forward to losing weight this week. We drink loads of warm water instead of tea and coffee and the fruit bowl is always full again! We haven't craved for anything and mum was the worst for buying chocolate and getting me to eat it! I feel so much fitter already and so looking forward to being a size 14 for my sons wedding in August. So for anyone out there thinking of doing this plan it is easy to follow, cheap to run and it works on the principle that you get good quality food so you don't feel hungry. Just do it - it's great! Till next month! "

ANNE MATHER, 55, SHEFFIELD. 18 Feb 2011 7:48am

"Just signed up, the meals look very tastey, very simple, its great you dont have to count the calories because a professional has allready done it all for you, Great site, Nice layout, Keep up the good work! Phil."

Phil Pattinson, 22, Hartlepool. 17 Feb 2011 10:39pm

"Hi I have now been on Diet Chef for four weeks and have lost 15lbs. It is wonderful not having to think about what to eat all the time as you have to on other diets I can just choose whatever takes my fancy and in a few minites it is done. I am so pleased I can now fit more comfortably in my clothes still have a long way to go and lots more clothes to get back into but there is now light at the end of a very long tunnel. "

chris, 60, west midlands. 14 Feb 2011 6:09pm

"After a heart-breaking bereavement last October I majored on chocolate! I gained 14lb very quickly and had a lot of heartburn which meant daily medicine to counteract this. After only one week I have lost 7lb and I haven't had heartburn for the last week and no medication I love the food and I've even had a glass of wine this week. I'll soon be into my size 12 trousers again. The bonus for me is that terrible heartburn has vanished.I'm well pleased."

Enid M Bennett-Shaw, 78, York. 14 Feb 2011 8:14am

"I would just like to say that I've been doing Diet Chef for 1 week now and have lost 5lb! Down from 13s 8lb to 13s 3lb! I am so pleased! The food is absolutely gorgeous and I can never wait to choose my next meal! Breakfast and lunch are always followed by a piece of fruit an hour or so later. I find that the evening meal fills me the most as I have either the extra pasta or rice along with mixed vegetables. Then my snack is kept for early evening. I love the fact the menu is so varied, there are just so many meals to choose from. I'm looking forward to my next weigh in to see how much more I've lost. Thanks Diet Chef! Kim x"

"I have just ordered my first hamper, i was a bit wary at first as when i went on to your personal profile my wight and hight indicated my BMI to be just over the 30 mark. I was due up the doctors that day so i asked the nurse to check for me and she confirmed this, i wanted it confirmed as i had in the back of my mind that the Diet Chef site might just be saying this to shock me into joining, but no its true. I am doing this for health resons as i have a bad back and also i want to become pregnant and the nurse at the surgery sugessted loseing wieght. I am 5ft 2 ins and 11st 9lbs so i will keep you updated on my progress. Looking forwaed to my first hamper ariving "

"Hi everyone this is a bit of an epistle. Have an underactive thyroid and in 10 years haver gone from 9st 7 to 18st 7. had to have a stent fitted last June and dr said under no circumstances was i to diet. Can't even do the rehab programme yet. However i saw dr 4 wks ago got home and lo and behold on telly fleetingly as i never watch adverts, saw diet chef ad. had no pen and just hoped the old grey matter could remember the web address.Got my boxes last Tuesday and was so excited. The food is delicious, on 1500 cals so have the milk shakes early evening or last thing. Saw dr again today (have to see him once a month) said it seems really good and might try it himself!!!! Anyway, i also persuaded him not to put me on statins so he's giving me a blood test four weeks from today to see if it lowers my cholesterol which is 6.2. Will let you know. on the plus side i have lost approx 7.5lbs. and i'm not stinting myself. Until next month well done diet chef"

Marilyn, 64, Vale,Guernsey. 31 Jan 2011 12:56pm

"After years of yoyo dieting I saw Diet Chef advertised and deceided to give it a go well my first 2 weeks have flown by and I have lost 9lbs I work 3 nights a week but this fits in very well with my shift pattern. For the first time ever dieting I feel I could reach my target weight I really hope so. Thank you Diet Chef for taking away the worry of choosing what to eat I can now go to the cupboard and just pick something randomly. "

"Hi. Just wanted to say how happy i have been with diet chef - the food is really good and tasty and have enjoyed almost all of the evening meals and all of the soups. Breakfast is a bit limiting as i dont like porridge but am enjoying the muesli bars and find them filling. I am half way thru my 3rd week and have lost 9 1/2pounds. I was 10st 13 and now 10st 3. I havent cheated and stuck to it religiously i also train a lot which helps. Have ordered my second hamper and hope to lose another 10lbs to a stone to get back to my normal weight of about 9st 4. Would highly recommend this diet especially if u havent got much willpower. When u know u are paying for it it helps with motivation!! Missed my wine at first but now i enjoy a cup of tea in the evening instead and feel sooo much better for cutting back on the booze!!!"

"I live alone and work long shifts. I come in from work tired and hungry and used to eat any old rubbish. With little time to shop or exercise I had piled on the pounds. Now I come in from work and within minutes I have a hot, tasty meal ready. I have only lost a stone so far but I am feeling fitter already. I have a long way to go but with Diet Chef I am confident that I can achieve my goal."

"Best value for money plan on the market at the moment. After being told I needed to lose weight for health reasons I was in despair as I have tried everything and with a very busy life style and 3 children it was almost impossible. i heard about diets that delivered all your food ready prepared and after researching each one and comparing costs, I found dietchef. I am very glad I did. A fantastic selection of tasty and filling foods, in convenient pouches- I am now moving on to my second box and in spite of xmas, a holiday in Spain and eating out for various birthdays I have lost over half a stone. My partner is also doing this with me and we are delighted. Customer service is also fantastic if ever there is an issue. Maybe in future they could offer just breakfasts, lunches, dinners or snacks for the month so maintaining weight would be easy!"

Lucy, 34, Redditch. 24 Jan 2011 1:52pm

"I have struggled with my weight all my life- or more refused to admit that it was a problem. After my mum died I started comfort eating and things went from bad to worse! Recently though I have turned over a new leaf, I have a great job, a gorgeous flat and im hoping dietchef will be the last piece of the puzzle. I have quite a bit to lose and am ready for the challenge! I’ve been going for a few days now and the food is amazing! Im so shocked that im not hungry, portion control has always been my problem but the plan is teaching me what is a normal portion and I really feel like this is the start of something beautiful! Feeling great and looking forward to the results- roll on the summer! Thank you"

"I started diet chef 3 days ago, haven't weighed already. I'm hoping to lose about 2 stone, just ate my chicken curry it was very nice but yesterday I had mushroom risotto, wasn't my cup of tea! Apart from that the food is very tasty so far. I will post again when I step on the scales :) good luck everyone doing it"

Lydia, 20, Ireland. 23 Jan 2011 8:38pm

"I started the diet in October after researching for about a month. I was inspired by all these accounts below mine and I figured as time was ticking by, I wasn't getting younger and I felt sluggish and heavy ALL THE TIME! So, when pay day came around, I handed over my money and my first package arrived. I was instantly impressed! I really enjoy the soups and evening meals. I tend to add a small portion of rice or pasta to my evening meals to bulk them up, along with lots of veg. I lost a stone after the first month, slowed down a tad as xmas came and went, lots of celebrations and meals to attend so as of the beginning of January, I had lost two stone. The great thing about Diet Chef is that if you do have a meal out or indulged in some big celebration, it is pretty easy to get back on the wagon. I can't say I have been a total saint and have indulged in the odd treat once a week but I have still lost weight. It is a little bit slower than I would like but as I mentioned, it is easy to get your mind back in focus and pick up where you left off. My family and friends have noticed the weight loss and it has filled me with confidence too. I am able to go into a clothes shop and buy clothes two sizes smaller than I had to buy 4 months ago, I can actually go into most of the high street shops and find something to wear, whereas before I had only my 'fat girls' shops and online stores to buy clothes to fit my bulk. I urge anyone who is in two minds in going ahead with this diet to stop thinking and get ordering, it will be the best thing you do this week! :))))) Cheers, DC! "

"I have just ordered my first months supply of Diet Chef. Unfortunately I have rather neglected my diet as I received dreadful news that my Husband has terminal cancer.. It has always been easy to just eat what I can and when...especially when my Husband has been on chemotherapy and not eating.... Anyway..I have promised and myself and him that I am going to get fit and feel better about myself. Wish me luck !!!"

I am desperate to loose this weight. My Dad has been awarded an MBE and I want to look nice on the photos outside the Palace with him and my Mum and brother!! So determind to get stuck in and loose it. Thanks for your inspiring stories! "

Jayne, 45, Sheffield. 4 Jan 2011 11:04pm

"Diet chef is the best way to loose weight as it's portion controled. I started in november and up to now have lost nearly 2 stone! I'm feeling good and finding it easy now, it's well worth trying."

Angela, 53, Whitehaven. 3 Jan 2011 6:56pm

"My husband and I had put on 4 stones and 3 stones respectively since we got married 18 years ago. He has tried to diet on and off over the years but I never did. However, we both began to get weight-related problems so I decided we now both had to do something. As we are neither of us very good at resisting temptation, we cleared the house of food and started Diet Chef 5 weeks ago. He has now lost more than a stone and I have lost about 9 lbs. We don't feel hungry and have got into the habit of taking our soups and snacks out with us if we are away from home. I even managed to resist an evening of entertaining friends with loads of snacks because I didn't feel hungry. We are committed to staying on the diet until we reach our target weights. It is harder for my husband as he is vegetarian so he doesn't have quite the wide choice of foods that I have but he manages and his reducing waistline is helping him stick to the diet. We don't feel hungry and think that this time we will make it! "

Sandra Semple, 62, Seaton. 13 Dec 2010 9:43pm

"Hi, I started my diet on the 5th november weighing in @ 15 stone !! and pleased to say with the delicous meals and managed food supply my weight today is 13 stone 13lb on the 10/12/2010. julie, 51, Waterlooville. 10 Dec 2010 4:01pm

"I first stated losing weight with a well known weight loss programme after reaching my heaviest weight of 15st 7lb. I lost 2 stone in 2 years, then maintained my weight for 18 months. Like many other people out there, my body had got used to the same old thing & I could not shift the weight. I was even prescribed a very expensive weight loss pill by the doctor & even she was amazed it didn't work!!! Then I found Dief Chef. What a relief!!!! I started DC weighing 13st 5lb, three months on and I now weigh 11st 12lb. I have lost 1 and half stone and am thrilled! I have got all my self confidence back & cannot wait to meet my first target of 11st 7lb and I'm determined to get there by Christmas Day!!!! My final taget will be 10st 7lb, I'm hoping to be at my target weight by February....I'll be slightly gutted in a way...going to miss the food...its delicious!!! Thank You Diet Chef, You Are Amazing....You've Given Me My Life Back!!!! "

Jennifer Dunn, 29, Bradford. 8 Dec 2010 5:11pm

"I started Diet Chef five weeks ago after trying to haul myself into my size 16 work trousers - my biggest pair - first thing on a Monday morning and thinking "enough is enough!" I thought to myself that could I either start to really focus on getting back into shape or keep eating my gigantic portion sizes (I was actually serving myself bigger portions than my husband!) until the new year. I was worried that by the time the Christmas holidays were over I would be at least one size larger, meaning buying (yet again!) another larger set of clothes! So after seeing the advert and checking online for cheaper alternatives (there are none, Diet Chef IS the best value product out there!) I decided why not give it a go. Even if it was only for one month I couldn't be any worse off than I am now. I'm so glad that I made the right decision! I have lost a total of 16 pounds so far and am only four pounds away from my first target - my wedding weight. The transition hasn't been all roses, I found it a little difficult still preparing food for my family and at first I thought "even the kids are eating more than me!" but now I don't give it a second thought. I can easily prepare a lovely home cooked meal for my family and sit down with them with my meal and plenty of veg. I'm currently going through a corn-on-the-cob phase. Although I have read on the forum pages on Diet Chef that microwaved steamed veg portions are a great way of having your veg prepared quickly and easily, so will be giving them a go when I buy next week's shopping. Just one more thing, I have been doing 20 mins exercise every morning mon-fri as I think that toning up will benefit me greatly to! To ANYONE who is thinking of giving this a go, who may be stuck in a rut like I was, please try it. There are still three weeks until Christmas and trust me you WILL see results before then! Good luck and thanks Diet Chef for giving me the much needed start to my health and happiness. Julia x"

charlotte, 21, kidderminster. 1 Dec 2010 7:32pm

"So far i've only had 1 week of Diet Chef and OMG! Started at 11.7st and within a week, jumped on the scales to see 11.02! I really had been struggling to get down to 11st for some time, even with doing my workout and starving I was still struggling, partly because I'd make myself so hungry I'd just go mad and eat everything! I was so impressed when I received my first hamper - the food is genuinely tasty, nice and well cooked (I had casserole last night and it was just like my Gran used to make, brilliant). I have felt a little peckish now and again but i've had fruit and water as suggested and that's done the job. I would definately recommend Diet Chef to everyone and anyone, it's healthy, easy and you'll enjoy loosing weight!!!! I've ordered another week, I wasn't going to with coming up for Christmas (need to save) but I am so happy with the results and really look forward to having my lunch and tea ready prepared knowing it's tasty and healthy too. THANK YOU DIET CHEF...YOU'RE GREAT!"

Lucie, 23, lancashire. 1 Dec 2010 9:37am

"Diet Chef is the only eating plan I find really works. It helps with portion control and the tried and tested method of calorie counting. I have lost a stone in 7 weeks. I have had a couple of blips but nothing like I have previoulsy had on other eating plans. And people have noticed my weight loss which is great and my clothes are looser. The diet chef food is really tasty."

Theresa, 60, Verwood. 25 Nov 2010 6:38pm

"I have used diet chef on a couple of occassions and it is the only one that has worked for me. Maybe I am getting lazy in my old age but just having the food there and knowing that I can have a healthy meal in about 5 minutes makes it much easier to follow. Portion size has always been an issue and I can actually cope on much smaller portions than I previously thought. It is not the cheapest way to lose weight but I am nearly where I want to be and it has been the least painful diet that I have been on! Even as a kick start it will get you in the right direction if nothing else. Now just to get rid of those last few pounds..."

Jane, 45, Beverley. 23 Nov 2010 5:50pm

"I have now been on the diet for 3 weeks first week I lost 4lbs, second week lost 5lbs and third week put on a 1lb?!?!?! I am loving the food and it is very easy having food already prepared. I am struggling a bit of an evening, I think because I am bored - any ideas please?"

Jayne, 52, Borehamwood. 23 Nov 2010 2:27pm

"Gong well and enjoying it more than i thought i would. it is so easy to stick to. I found the first couple of weeks harder as your trying to find which meals you like, but i have now put in my new menu for the next month and so excited to recieve it as it will be the food i know i like :) I will keep you all updated, i was happy to see that i had lost 8 lbs in the first week. Definately worth every penny :)"

Roz, 23, TAunton. 23 Nov 2010 12:51pm

"Like most people i had tried every diet going, so when i saw diet chef i thought why not give it a go. The first week was the hardest, i did feel quite hungry but after that its been a breeze! after 3 months ive lost 3 stone and 1lb, I was a size 20, now my size 16's are starting to feel loose. I'm so happy with the results! The choice of meals is so good and the fact the hard work of weighing the food out is done for you is the best part. As a shift worker it fits in to my life so easy and i haven't got to worry about what im going to cook! I have recommended to alot of my friends, the ones that have started it are also impressed with the results! It does take some will power but all the problems are taken away so you're more likely to succeed. "

michelle, 26, luton. 20 Nov 2010 1:56pm

"Have tried so many diets in the past went ok for the first couple of weeks but would get stuck cooking the same meals all the time. My friend recommended DC a couple of months ago and just put it to the back of my mind until my health really started to play up. So decided to take the plunge and am so glad that I did. Ive been on DC now for 8 days, I have had a different lunch and dinner each day, and being one of the fussiest eaters around I have yet to find one meal I don't like, the meals are so tasty and I'm trying things I have never tried before. I am so happy I was told of DC and to top it all off in those 8 days I have lost 10lb!! :-))) "

Debbie Diprose, 29, East Sussex. 12 Nov 2010 9:50pm

"I started Diet Chef 2 weeks ago and have lost 7lbs already which I am amazed at! I have felt hungry at first and can't really fill up on fruit as I am allergic to it but I have persevered. I plan to lose 2 stone so I have a way to go! Everyone at work is noticing the difference already!"

Julie Ryan, 44, York. 12 Nov 2010 5:42pm

"Hi everyone. I started DC on Monday of this week and today is Friday and I am down 4.5 pounds! The first two days I struggled a little with hunger pangs but I think they were more in my head than my tummy! I have a goal of losing three stone and I hope to look amazing for Valentines Day! I have been astounded by how wonderful the food is. I love the soups and the porridge for breakfast is lovely... I have failed so many times in the last year trying other diets and became rather down and depressed.. DC has given me a new light at the end of the tunnel! THANK YOU DC!!"

Kris, 37, Walton On Thames. 12 Nov 2010 2:38pm

"I decided to try a ready meal diet as I had got fed up with serve4 meals as I am on my own.bought one week and I have just2 days left the food was horrid so full of garlic have used so much parsley to clean my breath.have now bought diet chef which I will start on the 14th Nov hope it is as tasty as T.V ad says .Wish me luck.Bye Mavybabe"

mavybabe, 74, portsmouth. 12 Nov 2010 8:57am

"I saw DietChef on an advert and decided to give it a go because it just looked so convenient... I've tried calorie counting in the past and always failed because I lose the motivation, felt hungry etc you know the story! But I can honestly say this is the easiest diet I've ever been on - great food, so easy to stick to - and I've lost 9lbs in 2 weeks - which isn't half bad!! Wish I'd heard of it sooner!"

Jenny, 26, Swansea. 11 Nov 2010 1:46pm

"Started diet chef last week and i have already lost 4lbs, which i was really supprised about as i had a couple of nights out drinking. Last couple of days i've felt peckish in the evening but i've had fruit instead of my usual toast or crisps. Feeling a lot healthier and even eating food i wouldn't have before now. 100% convienient and i would recommend to anyone. I need to get back to a healthy weight it's been a long time coming. Looking forward to my next weigh in."

Claire, 28, Milton Keynes. 11 Nov 2010 12:32pm

"Like many others, I saw the advert on TV and thought I'd give Diet Chef a try. I'd never tried any type of diet before and had just let my weight grow and grow until I was up to 17 st 4lb. My initial goal was to get down to about 13 stone which would still leave me overweight, but no longer obese. My first hamper arrived at the end of August 2009 and I was delighted that within a month I'd lost over a stone. Checking the scales became addictive and after three months on the Diet Chef plan I'd lost 3 stone. By this point I was fully trained in counting calories and was able to mix the remaining Diet Chef pouches with home cooked food while still seeing the weight fall off. By Christmas, four months after starting the diet, I'd reached my goal of losing 4 stone but why stop there? The diet ended at that point but with careful planning and eating I'd managed to lose another stone by Easter 2010 and was a very comfortable 12 and a half stone and finally at my BMI for a normal weight. My 44" trousers had long since been thrown out and replaced with 32" ones. Since then, my weight has fallen even more and I have been stable at around 12 stone for several months with no sign of the weight trying to creep back up. Now in November 2010 my weight this morning was 11st 11lb - a loss of over 35kg or 5 and a half stone. Thank you Diet Chef for settting me on the right road and for teaching me the benefits of Calorie Counting. I would definitely recommend you to anyone who wishes to lose weight."

Michael Rollin, 36, Ruislip. 11 Nov 2010 11:34am

"Hi there, Like most people I've tried the diets and failed miserably as my portion sizes didn't agree with their portion sizes (I'm sure you've been there and know exactly what I mean. Well after the kids at school asking my daughter if I was pregnant for the last year, it's really started to get to me and decided I need to take drastic action. I saw the adverts for diet chef and thought, why not, the meals are already prepared for me so I can't 'cheat'. I must admit for the first couple of days I was hungry in between but had some fruit instead of where I would normally have pigged out on crisps and chocolate. It's all been worth it, I've lost 6lb in one week looks like I'll be quite near my target weight by Xmas. Would recommend this diet to everyone, it's so easy. Thanks DC. Will keep you updated on how I'm doing. xx"

Jan, 42, wORKSOP. 8 Nov 2010 10:45am

"Started dietchef just over two weeks ago and I'm doing really well. Starting weight 10st 3 and this morning 9st 6.5!!!! Over ten pounds lost. Even went camping during this time and took my food with me. Anyway, I'd like to thank whoever thought up diet chef. I'm a working mum of five and it's bad enough having to cook for fussy eaters without then having to cook a different meal for me, so this diet is ideal. I've even bought the microwave steam bags of veg to make life even easier! (got the tip of someone blogging) The other thing I try to do is have the dietchef version of food that I'm cooking for the rest of the family. ie. if they're having chicken tikka masala then I have the dietchef one so I don't feel excluded. If you're thinking of doing it - do it. The food is really tasty. Some of the soups are more like stews and really fill you up. "

Michelle Bradfield, 44, Frome. 5 Nov 2010 10:21am

"Can hardly believe that I have lost over a stone in 4 weeks. It has been so easy. The meals are so tasty and such a selection I have never been bored. Just taken delivery of my 2cnd hamper and I feel very confident that I will reach my target weight in the next 5 weeks Well done D C Keep up the good work, and believe me I am spreading the word"

marian, 72, Bridgend. 1 Nov 2010 6:38pm

"I started the DC on monday 25th of Oct and i was a little nervous about wieghing myself as the week has gone so well, a little hungry at times but had a piece of fruit, well i cant beleave it i have lost 6lb and its only the 5th day,so pleased and i think people at work will get used to seeing me with my pouches LOL!!"

Cathy, 52, Northampton. 29 Oct 2010 12:52pm

"I have just purchased DC and am looking forward to receiving it. Like everyone I have tried lots of diets in the past having lost some weight then put it back on and more. I am now over 4st overweight and it gets me very down. My knees are suffering as well as my feet. I know now that I have to do something about it. I am 48 and feel 20 years older. I have just started college and am hoping to retrain as a nurse but know that if I do not lose weight and get fit I will not make a nurse. So tomorrow DC should arrive and I take control of my weight. Wish me luck I will keep you up to date with how I get on."

"Hi all just been on diet chef for one week and lost 5lb's I am over the moon I can't beleive it. I feel great. Here's to my next weigh in"

Jan Brett, 41, Liverpool. 27 Oct 2010 9:48am

"hi all that read this, I'm an extremely fussy eater and i work shifts so normally i give up too quickly on diets but on diet chef the food was gorgeous (some weren't to my liking but i still went through with it), on my first week i lost 5 pounds, an inch off my tum and half an inch off my neck, i cant wait until my next weigh in to see how much more I've lost plus I'm more confident than i was. Thank you diet chef!"

mandie, 22, Bridport. 26 Oct 2010 2:44pm

"Having survived Cancer 3 years ago I had put on a lot of weight. I also suffered cardiac failure whilst in surgery and have the added problem of being an insulin dependent diabetic so I decided to take the bull by the horns and try Diet Chef. I have a lot of weight to lose and have just finished my first week and have lost 7lbs, I could have lost more but had a couple of social engagements which threw me off track a bit...I have to say the food is excellent, it's like eating out at a good restaurant every day and I really couldn't be happier and don't feel restricted with what I get to eat. I tend to use the lucky dip system whereby I just dip into the hamper and suprise myself with the choice I get for lunch and dinner...little things make it fun! I can see myself staying on this programme after failing at a lot of others...thanks Diet Chef. Am I the only guy here lol!"

Neil , 47, Bedford. 25 Oct 2010 8:18am

"I have been on a diet roller coaster for the last ten years. two years ago I joined a weightloss programme that was going to revolutionise my life. It did I lost 8 stone in six months. I went from 21 stone to 14 stone I dropped from a size twenty eight to a size sixteen. But sadly I have put 5 stone back on and am really sad, I have a cupboard full of cloths I cannot wear. looking forward to starting DC tomorrow. My pack arrived before my sample but I had my sample soup, carrot and butter bean yesterday and it was delicious. Will be back next week to let you all know how I am getting on."

kim Hargrave, 48, Leicester. 24 Oct 2010 11:34am

"I have had M.S. for many years and my mobility is restricted Losing weight has been difficult in the past, as for medical reasons I have to do it very slowly so as not to lose any precious muscle power. On Diet Chef I have lost 22 pounds over the past year - and kept it off for the first time ever! My BMI is steadily dropping (now 28), and by next Spring I hope to have whittled it down to a ssafe level. Foe someone like me who suffers greatly from fatigue and has weak hands, Diet Chef is perfect as the meals are so healthy, low-glycaemic, tasty and easy to prepare. I am over the moon. Helen"

"Hi ,for a few years I have slowly put weight on, [as you do when you get to my age] but the biggest increase has been in the last 6 months. My husband passed away and I have eaten completely the wrong foods, comfort eating, too lazy to cook wholesome meals for just myself. So to discover DC has been a godsend . I am soo happy with the choice of meals and have sorted out my particular favourites.I started on 1st of Oct and have lost 9lbs, I am really pleased. This weight loss has helped motivate me look to the future again. It is so convenient and I rarely feel hungry Thank you DC well done. "

"I have been using Diet Chef for two months only and I have lost 40lbs already! Yes, 40lbs!!! I do have a lot of weight to lose, but this is a fantastic start. I love the convenience of the meals, which are really tasty, with such variety. Go on try it! I only wish I had to courage to give it a go much sooner."

"Hi, I have been over weight for most of my life. Not massively but always at least 2 stone. The only time I lost alot of weight was when my partner and I split after 15 years. But now 2 years on the weight is back on!! I have tried other diets but have never been able to stick for a length of time. But last week I decided I needed to do something as again I am 2 stone over weight. I discovered DC and I am so glad I did. I was dubious, but just decided to give it a try, and boy am I glad I did. I kept it to myself what I was doing normally I broadcast it that I am on a diet. I have just done my first week weigh in and i have lost 5 pounds. Can't believe how easy it has been. I admit a couple of time I did feel hungry, but mostly I have not, which really surprised me. The food really does taste good. I don't feel like I am on a diet and no-on has noticed I am on a diet. Maybe after one hamper I will be at my goal, but definitly after 2. I think if you really want to lose weight healthily then DC is the way to go. Thanks "

Laura, 44, Nuneaton. 14 Oct 2010 11:19am

"I've been on Diet Chef since 14th September , so far I've lost 17lbs. The food is really nice and there is a lot of variety. I've tried several different diets but this one is the best, it's really nice to have a meal already prepared, it's like having a live-in chef!!"

Trudie, 41, Maidstone. 12 Oct 2010 7:51pm

"I started DC 1 week ago and now I am 8 lbs lighter! thrilled with the results and loving the food. I now look forward to my meals and would recommend DC to anyone I only wish I had tried this earlier. I would say to anyone you have nothing to loose BUT weight! will keep you informed on my progress."

Julie, 48, Farnham. 11 Oct 2010 11:58am

"I started my first week weighting 18st 3lbs and have just done my first weigh in with my partner who is monitoring me and is my inspiration for doing this as is my grandson Joshua, as I want to be more fit and healthy to be able to chase him all over the place, and I have lost an amazing 10lbs as I now weigh 17st 7lbs its fantastic, and its been a great first week, have not really felt too hungry and the meals are delicious i have made changes to my second hamper as i do love some of the meals and not others but only a few, so thank you diet chef for letting me on the diet and its just brilliant"

Theresa, 60, Dorset. 8 Oct 2010 2:41pm

"Since I finished sixth form two years ago I had gained 2.5 stone (15kg) because I took a gap year before university and spent it travelling to quite a few countries, which meant eating out a lot and not having a kitchen of my own to prepare healthy meals in. I had also moved out of my parents house and was living on my own for the first time, and I must admit that not having my parents around to limit how much junk food I could eat made it too easy for me to binge on takeaways, crisps, pizza, chocolate, ready meals and pretty much all the other tasty, convenient food which is so bad for your health and weight. I enjoyed eating whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted very much, until I realised how much weight I had actually gained and my family started to voice their concern to me. I decided to give diet chef a try and I recieved my first monthly food delivery four days ago. I am very impressed with the quality of the food, you can taste that it has been prepared by chefs. As a student, it is also very convenient not having to cook. I'm not going to lie- the portions ARE small, and I have been hungry at times, but I know this is only because I have been overeating in the past so I am not used to restricting my portions. I have chosen not to weigh myself, as for me this diet is about looking my best- not a number on a scale. I already feel lighter, my jeans aren't quite as tight and I am sleeping better. Thank you Diet Chef, it's only week one and you are already changing my life :) "

Bianca, 20, London. 4 Oct 2010 3:57pm

"I have steadily put on weight over the last 15 years, and being 6 foot was always being told I could 'carry it'. I never really thought about my weight, but after a long struggle trying to have children the weight just crept up on me. I think I comfort ate, but I like to think I lived well!!! Not much food and fun and not enough restraint. THat's the problem I have always had with diets - the restraint, the weighing, the counting, the obsessing, the having to change your lifestyle to adapt to the diet - and its no FUN. On Jan 4th 2010 I was 17.2 - wow a big number - today I am 13 stone!!! and that is purely down to diet chef, and have I had lots of fun this year!! I have eaten out, I've been on hols (and wore a swimsuit for the first time in years) and I've have had a few treats along the way. I am not stopping there, diet chef has given me so much confidence in them, that I am going for a bit more - lets see where I am on jan 4th 2011. Good luck everyone, if I can do it - anyone can!!!"

Zet Norman, 36, Southampton. 1 Oct 2010 10:32am

"I started DC about 3 months ago and I have lost 20Lbs. This has been the most sucessful weight loss I have had in 4 years considering I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and i have found losing weight very very hard,Honestly i have not stuck rigidly to it (eat out at weekends, I have the odd extra treat without feeling guilty) I think if I had I would have lost it sooner. I am very happy with my progress, my relationship with food has much improved, I am not constantly thinking of my next meal and obsessing with calories etc. Plus I have learned about portion control I know longer feel I have to eat everything on a plate when I do eat out.My stomach tells me im full alot sooner and I now stop!I would defintely recommend it. the only negative I have is of tsome of the chicken dishes the meat is not of good quality. ie chicken chasseur."

jennifer, 30, Neath. 30 Sep 2010 9:59pm

"I started DC 5 weeks ago to lose a bit of weight for my daughters wedding which was earlier this month. I lost 10lbs in 4 weeks, just enough for my dress to fit properly. My daughter was so envious of my weight loss that she pinched 3 weeks worth of DC pouches and lost 7lbs in time for her big day! I had to bring forward my next damper delivery to compensate, but it was worth it to see her so happy in her beautiful gown. I did put on 2lbs due to the wedding, but lost them the next week along with another 2lbs taking my total to 12lbs lost in 5 weeks ... I'm delighted. As a life long "Weight Watcher" counting points and weighing every morsel that goes into your mouth, I have to say how much easier DC is. What could be simpler than making a selection from the great variety on offer and putting it in the microwave, and watching the weight fall off ... Simple! I only wish I had found out about it sooner! I'm staying with DC for the foreseeable and my next target is my holiday to the Maldives for Christmas ... hopefully, no make that definitely, at least another stone and a half lighter. Watch this space ;-) If you're still thinking about joining us ... go on give it a go, you won't be disappointed, I promise! Good Luck to all the newbies, oh and by the way the Forums are a great inspiration and full of really friendly people ... like me ... lol!!! "

Jennie Mansbridge, 52, Winchester. 29 Sep 2010 4:03pm

"I have an eating disorder and I find that I can return to diet chef when I need extra support to look after myself and eat well. It is just enough structure and enough choice to get me back on track. I friendly light hand on the tiller. Thank-you"

Jane, 56, London. 28 Sep 2010 9:59pm

"I started with Diet Chef about two months ago and find it is such a great way to have a more balanced, healthy diet. Stupidly, I didn't weigh myself at the start as I don't have scales at home. I eventually weighed myself and then three weeks later, I weighed myself again and found that I'd lost just under half a stone.I've been weighed once more since then and another 2½ pounds had come off. I think that Diet Chef is such an easy(ish) regime to follow if you want to lose weight - the only "thinking" you have to do is what you are going to eat and with what vegetables!! I will admit that I found it hard the first couple of weeks, but then my stomach began to get used the amounts of food I was eating and now sometimes I get full and I haven't even finished my dinner!! That is such a great turn-up for the books. I have decided that I am going to carry on with Diet Chef for the foreseeable future and will have my birthday and Christmas Day off!!! If anyone's reading this and thinking about trying it, please do - it's fabulous and I would thoroughly recommended it to anybody!!"

Tracy Green, 45, London. 27 Sep 2010 2:17pm

"I started to put weight on after I had my son (5yrs ago). I went from a size 12/14 to a size 18. I was big & miserable!!! I tried most diets & managed to lose 3St, but could not keep it off. I went back up to a size 16 and weighed 12St 4lbs. Only being 5ft 4" you can imagine I looked like a pear!! y colleague at work was talking about the Diet Chef & said she had tried it. I decided to give it a go. AM I GLAD I DID!!! I have so much more energy!!! I have lost 9lbs and I am only just into my 3rd week!!! To be honest the food is of personal taste, but I have found the one's that I like and am really enjoying it. No cooking for hours, no having to prepare food. It fits into my lifestyle. You to at least give it a go. You will definately be pleasantly suprprised when the weight starts to fall off. X"

"Hi just thought I'd update people. I've now lost 4 stone on Diet Chef and I have recommended it to everyone who will stand still for more than five minutes! I've tried all diets both good and bad and normally by the time I get to this stage I've long given up. I'm sticking to this one till I've dropped all my weight which is a lot! Keep you posted!"

Sharron, 48, Ramsgate. 22 Sep 2010 12:36pm

"A recent holiday and a trip to the doctors on my return, gave me the nudge that i needed to start loosig weight. I now need to loose a substantil amount and so looked for something that I could follow taht would not be boring.Something that I would not feel hungry on . I had seen Diet Chef on QVC a while ago so looked it up on the internet. I took the plunge and just over 2 weeks ago began my diet. I lost 4Kg the firat week and 2Kg in the second week.I am now into week 3 and have been updating my choices ready for my new delivery. I have felt hungry at the right time ,ready for my next meal.I am more concious of what I eat and i am eating more fruit and vegetables than i did previously which must be good . I look forward to my next weigh in."

Jane Amel, 55, Bristol. 21 Sep 2010 12:11am

"I am starting my new hamper for the first time tomorrow. I am nervous in case I get anything wrong. I have 4 stone to loose for health reasons and so I am hoping I will like the food and that it is enough to satisfy my food pangs. I will update you all on how my journey goes. Sue"

"i been on diet chief for 2 weeks now n ive lost 7lb sooooo plz. got 2st to lose ."

pat, 69, portsmouth. 14 Sep 2010 11:12pm

"I've tried diets to lose weight before, one being LighterLife, I did lose weight but didnt end up keeping it off and I kinow thats because I wasnt actaully eating anythink, everythink was water based, so I was never going to keep it off.(and it cost more then diet chef) I wish I had found diet chef yrs agos, I love the strawberry and vanilla shakes, and most of the dinners, and the berry biscuits. I started on diet chef on July 25th(sunday) weighting 18st 10lbs, weighted in today at 16'11, so i lost 4lbs this week, i've lost 27lbs altogether in 7wks, so i've still got 5 stones to go, but Know that because im enjoying this eating plan I know im going to stick to it. 18"

kat, 26, london. 12 Sep 2010 6:56pm

"Perfect diet for a busy lifestyle. Easy to stick to, cos you're never hungry, and no messing about weighing stuff or buying expensive ingredients to cook for yourself. I did two months on it, went from 17st 7lbs to 15st 13lb and had plenty of 'nights out' and 'meals out' in that time. If you have a blowout just get back on the plan next day and forget the lapse. Bulk out the breakfasts with loads of chopped fresh fruit and get pre-packed salad and veggies for the other meals. This works, it really does."

Ian, 51, Rochdale. 12 Sep 2010 5:20pm

"I can't believe how simple this is. In 6 weeks I've dropped from 16 st 4 lbs to 14st 11 lbs. The plan fits in with my long work hours and preparing an evening meal only takes 15 minutes. In fact, I don't even feel like I've been dieting!"

Simon, 43, Milton Keynes. 11 Sep 2010 2:27pm

"If you are wondering about diet chef I have only one thing to say to you TRY IT you will not be disappointed! It is not a scam, it is not expensive and it DOES work - I know, I have lost 1 stone in 3 weeks! I have, over the years tried every other diet going but never had success like this."

Elaine, 40, Cupar. 28 Aug 2010 11:34am

"I have been gradually putting on weight for a long period of time and been getting more and more unhappy as the clothes I have were starting to get too small and becoming self conscious about my weight. I felt I didn't have a controlled diet and would come home from work and order a takeaway or eat unlimited snacks. I found Diet Chef and took stock of the food, which is so tasty and filling. As well as doing daily exercise I have lost one stone in three weeks and am now down to 12 stone (from 13 stone). I've not missed the takeaways and sweets and look forward to my diet chef meals and losing further weight."

Adam, 29, Co Durham. 27 Aug 2010 9:27pm

Lizzy , 18, london. 26 Aug 2010 1:19pm

"I started diet chef just over a week ago, I am amazed at how easy it is, and the food is really delishious, I haven't found anything I don't like yet. My main problem was not eating at regular intervals, and the wrong sort. I have lost over half a stone and feel great, full of energy and never hungry. Thankyou diet chef I will recommend you to my friends."

linda, 59, northampton. 18 Aug 2010 10:12am

"i had been stuck for sometime on yoyo dieting with no succsess , trying the diet chef is working i am not hungry at all . and to my delight i have lost 6lbs in my first week feel great and less sluggish . i still have a bit to go but for once on a diet i feel like i can do it , to any one needing to loose weight give it a go , all you will loose is weight ."

"Hi.So thrilled to bits with Diet Chef. It has been six weeks now and I have lost exactly 1 stone and this was with being on holiday for a week and eating different foods. I am so happy. Diet chef is VERY easy to stick to, you dont have to think about a thing, just enjoy the good heathy foods. I am slowly converting most of my family, my husband and sister in law are both on Diet Chef. Many Thanks to you Diet Chef Team."

Tracey, 30, Birmingham. 13 Aug 2010 11:43pm

"I started Diet Chef with, admittedly, some trepidation as I had never truly dieted before, on 5th April this year, at c 13stone and feeling horrible about myself. As of last week (5th August) I have lost a really quite hard to believe 21 lbs when combined with some treadmill exercise. It is amazing how many people have noticed, particualrly in the last month, and I am looking and feeling so much better, and nest of all my friends notice how much happier I am in myself and how much more I want to go out and socialise, so thank you so much Diet Chef, you have made my summer!!"

Tori, 32, Reading. 13 Aug 2010 4:29pm

"Hi I have struggled with my weight all my life (at school I was in a size 16-18). For a few years I have been seeing the HCA at my local surgery to monitor my weight but it has still been yo-yoing. I actually need to lose 4 stone. Then I saw an item on the internet about dietchef and did the personal profile. After reading it I considered giving it a try. I have ordered 2 months supply and have lost nine and a half pounds in 3 weeks. In that time I even had a meal out but still lost. Everyone at work is amazed at the results. Hopefully I will encourage others to try this diet as it really works. Thank you so much for the tasty meals."

Mel, 55, Plymouth. 5 Aug 2010 9:46am

"The first thing i was concerned about when purchasing the hamper was that the meals wouldnt taste nice and they would be full of additives and preserves. Well when i recieved the hamper i was relieved when i looked on the ingredients and even more relieved when i tasted the delicious soups and lunches. I have recommended to all my friends and family. Diet chef takes the pain and hassel out of dieting and im enjoying the great tasteing food and loving the results! No more wasted money on take aways and fancy resturants when you have great tasteing food stored in your fridge!"

Elleia Harris, 22, Oxfordshire. 4 Aug 2010 9:22pm

"I started on 17th July and have lost 7lbs as at 2nd August. I cheated the diet on a couple of occasions, but not badly and have had 5 small glasses of wine, otherwise I would have done even better on the weight loss. This diet really proves the point that it's all about portion control - if it is high calorie, you must eat a lot less. Get that sorted and I'm sure that anyone could get down to the correct weight. So far, I have enjoyed most meals apart from Salmon bake, Tortellini and Paella, all of which I found bland, but edible. The soups really taste home made and are wonderfully filling. The Lamb Hotpot is lovely, as is the Tikka, the Coq au Vin and the Mushroom Stroganoff. The diet foods are very easy to carry with you if you are going away for your work - if you have a means of heating the food. I have just asked if it is safe to eat the food cold, straight from the pouch if I get stuck.I really love the Granolas and the bars and would buy them after the diet, now I know the right portion size, which looks weeny at first. One good side effect I have noticed is that I seem to be sleeping better. I'm really pleased so far.Thank you"

Julie, 58, Bedford. 3 Aug 2010 10:10pm

"I, like many others have battled with my weight for years. I have been thinking of trying diet chef for some time, having first seen it on QVC. Well I have given it ago, and after week one I am pleased to say I have lost 7lbs. I am finding the "diet" relatively easy especially as you make up your remaining calories daily as you see fit, which leaves space for a treat. The first couple of days I did feel hungry, but only because I had become used to eating far too much. Really looking forward to continuing with diet chef, and especially the next weigh in. Tina :)"

Tina Ward, 40, Kettering. 3 Aug 2010 4:43pm

"I started Diet Chef on 2nd July 2010 and lost 8 pounds in the first week! To date (29th July) I have lost a total of 14 pounds. The diet has taught my body to accept less food (and taught me that I used to eat too much) I can honestly say that I have found it easy. I have not felt hungry, which is strange, because before the diet I was always hungry. I feel better in myself and more positive about losing weight than I ever have on other diets. The food is tasty and convenient to prepare. I found that there were a few meals I didn't like but a quick call to customer services and I was able to replace them with something else. The fact that I'm already wearing tops and jeans that were a little 'snug' a short while ago really motivates me to continue to my goal weight which I know I can achieve now thanks to Diet Chef. Maureen."

"jusat started with dietchef and in the first 2 weeks i've lost 6lb and 4 inches!!! After loosing nearly 3 stone 4 years ago i have struggled to shift that last stone and a half, but I'm finding this easy to follow and fully enjoyable with hardly any temptation to cheet - saying that i still eat out once a week and have my tipple at the weekends!! I can confidently say now that my goal is within my site!! Thank you!!!"

Rebecca, 32, Crewe. 22 Jul 2010 8:16am

"I have just finished 11 weeks on the diet chef plan and have came down from 17st 1 Lb to 14st 4 Lb . We are now of to South Africa for a 17day safari tour. On my return I will contiue with the diet chef plan to reach my target weight of 13St 7 Lb which should take about 7 weeks. On completion of my target I will be having a 3 rasher bacon roll with butter and H.P.sauce. I have not been on a diet I have been on an eating plan. Many thanks Dennis Jones"

Dennis Jones, 55, Edinburgh. 21 Jul 2010 12:40pm

"I was a little wary about diet chef but decided to give it a go. Was hugely surprised by the sheer amount that came 4 boxes. Had my first week and i lost 21 pounds i was amazed! Just started my second week now. Really pleased with the variety you get and the food tastes great. At last a diet i don't have to count calories or fat or be restricted on stuff. It's made a dramatic difference to weight loss. THANK YOU!"

Lisa, 31, Cannock. 20 Jul 2010 2:19pm

"I began Diet Chef 3 weeks ago now, after having tried pretty much everything. I have never had a healthy relationship with food, leading to a diagnosis of compulsive eating disorder a few years ago. I had been working with a therapist to work out why I ate, and the next step once I had worked through much of it was to start working on losing the weight I had gained over the many years of having this problem whilst working through any further issues that came up. I began my journey at 17st 2lbs, and now, after just 3 weeks I am at 16st6lbs. I am really pleased with my 10lb loss in such a short time, but the great thing is I am getting my zest for life back, and am enjoying exercise - and food (not just using it to block out my emotions). I knew I needed a plan that did all the weighing and measuring for me, as part of my problem was definitely down to not feeling I deserved to spend my time and effort on myself weighing and measuring, and planning foods when on other diets - so the fact it is all done for me already, with plenty of variety - and is tasty and enjoyable is really helping me to gain a much healthier relationship to food. I am really looking forward to my next hamper of goodies, and thank you for providing such a brilliant plan. I am getting married in a few years time, and I am determined not to have any issues with food, and be a size 14 when I get married - but I don't want it to have been a last minute crash diet - I want to have had my eating under control for some time before it. Now, thanks to DietChef, I think I may well have found the way to do that."

Rosemary, 35, Chelmsford. 19 Jul 2010 9:22am

"Both myself and my partner started eating the Diet Chef meals on 28th June, we are just over 2 weeks into our new eating regime and pleased to announce we have both lost weight weekly. I am currently 7lbs lighter and my partner is 9lbs lighter thanks to Diet Chef. Over the years we've both tried the various diets out there, Slimming World, the Cambridge Diet etc and just recently i had sessions of hypnotherapy to try to find a solution to my ever increasing appetite and waistline. I have to be honest Diet Chef does exactly what it says on the tin, the meals taste great and there's such a wide choice of meals to choose from. We are both delighted we decided to try Diet Chef as the results have been amazing. "

keith west, 44, Cheltenham. 17 Jul 2010 1:25pm

"I have been on diet chef since the end of january and have lost just under the 3 stone with another stone to go. I like the food but during the summer I prefer to have the shakes but have been so disappointed that the banana shakes have been discontinued as I am not liking the other shakes so much."

wendy, 67, Andover. 14 Jul 2010 1:25pm

"Started Diet Chef 10 days ago was a bit wary at first but food is good, shakes are great poured over ice and snack bars = that little sweet something after a meal. Lost 9lbs in first week unbelievable most i have ever lost on first week of any diet. If undecided I say give it a go !"

Susan Welburn, 55, Stockton. 12 Jul 2010 10:17pm

"Hi just thought I'd write as I'm in my second week of the diet and doing really well. When the hampers arrived I really didn't think I could survive on the food as there didn't seem to be much and I have a big appetite. Anyway onwards I went and I have to say that I have never been hungry and I'm amazed! It works really well for me I've lost 9lbs in 9 days! It great knowing exactly what you can eat and not having to wait for ages for it to cook, or having to weigh things out. I'm sticking to it and I'll let you know how I get on. I've got a long way to go but for the 1st time in my life I think I might actually be able to stick with this."

Sharron, 48, Ramsgate, Kent. 12 Jul 2010 2:36pm

"I have just completed my first week with Diet Chef and i am amazed at the results i have lost ^6lbs in one week and only wish i found this diet months ago that way i would not have spent money on tablets and all other things i tried. I love planning my weekly food menu and half my office are intrested in trying this. Roll on 2nd 3rd and 4th weeks."

Rachel Nickels, 35, Basildon. 29 Jun 2010 5:22pm

"I have struggled with my weight for 15 years & tried various diets, all work for a while but are very slow & results don't come very quick. I started Diet Chef 7 weeks ago & I have already lost 2 stone. I have found Diet Chef so easy, all the hard work is done for you. I never feel the need for the odd chocolate bar, I'm not saying I could not eat one but I don't feel the need for one. Diet Chef makes sense of eating correctly so easy."

Kevin Nolan, 48, Malvern. 21 Jun 2010 11:17pm

"Hi an update on my diet between November and January I kept to the diet to the letter and lost 2stone 3lb I am up and down with 2lb I have recently been on holiday for 2 weeks pleased to say the morning I went away The scale was 13sts on my return 13st 1 lb which I am very pleased with. To day I was out with my sister met a friend I have not seen for some months and said I look fantastic Dietchef which I find great so easy to use . I am now trying to get back on track - plan to place my order in the next few days. Thank -you DIETCHEF I will be trying the new meals on my new order."

ray gill, pudsey leeds. 21 Jun 2010 5:53pm

"I signed up to Dietchef not to lose vast quantities of weight but to bring my waistline back under control having turned 30! I have been amazed by just how good the food is. I have also been surprised that I don't feel that hungry - a little bit (!) but I am now completely sold on a low GI approach. I plan to keep Dietchef food in the house permanently to stop me reaching for takeaways / calorific fast food when I can't face cooking."

Claire, 33, London. 20 Jun 2010 6:44pm

"I have tried a lot of diets but I was a bit cynical about yet another system. I needed to lose 2 stone, so I tried Diet Chef. The food is really good, I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks and ate out 4 times. I find it easy, and tasty. I have enjoyed the food, it tastes great, and I don't have to think. I run a business, this is for me. It works. Thank you."

judy, 61, Tetney. 18 Jun 2010 10:26pm

"I started diet chef in January 2010 weighing 18.5st. I realised I needed to lose weight after not wanting to put any photos of me on Facebook!! Now, in June 2010, I weigh just under 12st. It really works and the food is tasty and easy to cook. I have the soup with toast at lunchtime. My wife prepares my veg, I microwave my meal and we all eat together as a family. The snacks and milkshakes keep me going in the evening. I would recommend Diet Chef to everyone. I am now at a good weight but am still using Diet Chef to keep my portion control steady. Also, I have finally put a new photo of myself on Facebook!!! Thanks Diet Chef. "

Sean Walter, 43, Nr Fort William. 17 Jun 2010 8:27am

"I am very overweight and need to lose weight if I am not to develop serious health problems. I have tried many diets but have always put the weight back on and lost slowly because of the difficulty of sticking to them. I started Diet Chef in May 2010 and love the ease of preparation and flavours. We eat out a lot so it is hard to stick to the diet. Even so I have lost 7lbs, and aim to continue with Diet chef until the weight is shifted. I have also been very impressed with the efficiency of your administration. Thank you"

Liz, 61, Worcester. 16 Jun 2010 11:36pm

"I lost 3 stone in 5 months on Diet Chef last year. Sooooo many people have commented and complimented me, and asked about how I did it. I was delighted to tell them all how great it was, how tasty and convenient the plan is, and how it was all so little effort! Several people have been inspired to follow Dirt Chef themselves- I'm delighted there is now a friends discount code so I can keep on reaping the benefits Diet Chef has given me. I've kept off the weight but I'm almost tempted to buy another hamper to taste all the new foods introduced since I stopped!"

Michelle Grist, 41, Windsor. 16 Jun 2010 4:28pm

"Been doing diet chef for almost two weeks and lost 8 pounds already. Have about a stone and a half of baby weight to shift and the meals are great for busy Mum's as you don't have to think about what you are preparing, it's all done for you! There is no denying as with any diet it takes hard work and determination but I'm confident I will reach my goal as the meals are tasty and with such variety you can always have something similar to the rest of the family so you don't feel your missing out so much. I'm surprised I don't feel really hungry as it's a big drop in the amount I would usually eat. "

shelley, 29, london. 15 Jun 2010 5:58pm

"I started Diet Chef in August 2008 and since then my life has dramatically changed! It gives you the opportunity to learn the amounts you should be eating and what types of food you should be eating in order to lose weight healthily. I bought the packages for a few months and that gave me the knowledge to by regular food and lose weight. I have lost 4stone so far without putting any on. I am now ordering another month because one more stone and I'll be my ideal weight! Thank you Diet Chef xx"

Vicky, 23, Brean. 13 Jun 2010 5:05pm

"i have done so many diets except this one. I have 3 stone to lose and struggling everyday. My problem is portion control. I have had one day on the diet so far and am feeling confident this is going to work! The meals are smaller than i am used to, so i plan to bulk with veg and salad. i have to say the food is delicious which is why i think i will stick to it!.. order one month so i kinda have to !...will keep you posted next week x x "

samantha marshall, 32, south wales. 11 Jun 2010 8:54am

"I'm so happy because in 15 days I burned 5kg! The food is amazing and I'm learning to eat smaller portions!"

W. Reis, 44, Luxembourg. 9 Jun 2010 8:39pm

"Thank you for helping me look 10 years younger! That's what my hubby says. 4 stone lighter I am enjoying walking, cycling and generally being fitter. I found having everything prepared a lot easier, cooking and shopping don't exist, apart from steaming veg each day it's a piece of cake. There are 4 of us friends doing this and between us we have lost over 10 stone. Not bad for something that's easier and cheaper than my usual cooking. My hubby lost a stone without trying as I have changed my habits. I am considering staying on Diet Chef during the week and going off it at weekends to maintain my weight. I would love to read stories of other peoples successful weight maintenance. Carol "

"hi everyone i started diet chef on the 26th of april and so far i have lost 5lb and it doesnt even feel like i am on a diet the meals are fantastic so far there isnt 1 that i have tried and didnt like the only down side to this diet is what to choose for my breakfast diner and tea lol n"

jacqui, 41, scotland. 2 May 2010 3:33pm

"I only had around ten pounds to lose and wanted something to get me back on track with my portion control without feeling hungry. I ordered 4 weeks supply of diet chef and received a week free and after only 4 weeks i have lost the whole ten pounds. I feel that i have got my eating under control again due to the fact that you eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with a snack in between, also no real limit to the fruit and vegetables. All of the meals that i had were very tasty especially the soups. I cannot find fault and am amazed that i did not feel hungry once during the four weeks. I know in the back of my mind that if ever i do over indulge during holidays or christmas that i can order a few weeks of diet chef to get me back on track and lose the weight steadily without hunger pangs!! Thank you x"

maxine, 45, essex. 30 Apr 2010 4:47pm

"We started Diet Chef in January and three months later I've lost 2stones and my husband has lost 3stones. We've not been exercising but have stuck to the diet except for two meals out that we had. We've learnt the importance of smaller portions and although I don't love all the meals if you buy direct from Diet Chef you could take your pick. Best diet I've ever done as really easy and handy when you're working just to pop food in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Meals are delicious and if you take into account money you're not wasting on other food then represents good value and cheaper than a lot of other diet fad products. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Diet Chef, I know weigh almost the same as when I was 21 so not bad going."

Sarah, 49, Inverness. 14 Apr 2010 9:50pm

"My problem is that I am obsessed with food so diets usually don't help. I end up spending all my time planning meals etc and eventually I would fail because I spend all my time thinking about food. Diet Chef has been fantastic because all the planning is done for you, so I just forget about food until my next meal is due. I have lost nearly 1 1/2 stone in five weeks and feel great. I have a lot of weight to lose, but am feeling positive about dieting for the first time in years. Thank you Diet Chef."

Debs, 45, Mansfield. 13 Apr 2010 9:23pm

"Just wanted to say thanks to Diet Chef. I've been on the diet for nearly 6 weeks, and I've lost 32 pounds! I feel so much better, physically and mentally. I would recommend this diet to anyone, it's simple and the food is great. Thanks again!"

Dave P, 36, Windsor. 12 Apr 2010 3:20pm

"Well i have been doing diet chef for 8 days and have lost 9lbs already!! the variety of food is fab,and i look forward to planning my meals for the next day (sad i know!!) i have always struggled with my weight, but actually think there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.....finally!! i don't ever feel hungry, and haven't been slightly tempted to cheat yet either, and i WON'T!!!! If you can't seem to find a diet that works try diet chef......you won't look back!! ;0)"

jan zacharow, 43, knottingley. 10 Mar 2010 10:57am

"I have tried numerous diets with differing effects and always get bored or struggle to follow. I was very impressed with Diet chef from before I even bought the food I had lots of questions which the pop up chat helped with straight away. I could choose what i like rather than having food that i wouldn't eat and can manage how I want to either weekly or Monthly. I am on day 3 of Diet chef and am so impressed, the food is lovely, portion size takes a little getting used to but the quality is great. I have stuck rigidly to it and in 2 days have lost 2LB. I am pretty certain I can make my goal of 1 stone within a Month - 6 weeks at this rate. Well Done diet Chef a very satisfied customer!"

Vicky, 38, Nottingham. 3 Mar 2010 4:14pm

"Hi there, I would like to write you a review. I did the 2 months of diet chef and am truley sad that I have to stop. I have never had any diet be so convientient and so easy to use. I have lost an incredible 2 stone in just shy of 2 months. I feel fantastic and again I stress how easy this diet is. All of the hard work, menu planning, grocery shopping has all been done for you. This Diet is truly the easiest way I have ever lost weight! THANK YOU DIET CHEF! (Best decision of the new year!!) "

DEAN and TRACY HOOPER 2 Mar 2010 4:15pm

"I started the diet 16 Jan, 2010. It is now 26 Feb, just under 6 weeks later I have lost 11 pounds, and I must admit I eat a little more than I should so if I had followed it strictly, I probably would have lost even more weight by now! I am really pleased with the results and have dropped a dress size already. I intend to keep going and I have got used to eating smaller portions throughout the day. My diet is now much healthier and I eat way more fruit and vegetables too! I love the way the portion sizes are worked out for you and have been educated so much by you guys - THANK YOU DIETCHEF! :-)"

Susan, 56, Cardiff. 26 Feb 2010 11:45pm

"I was told by my doctor I need to loose 3 stone. I have done various diets but get borded easily and find it difficult to do portion control. Rather than cooking enough for 2 meals and putting in the freezer I kept eating both portions! Well with this it is all packaged and the hard work done. Each evening I go "shopping in the boxes" its fun picking out a brekkie, snack, lunch and dinner ready for the next day. I cannot believe how great the food tastes. I pop the pouch and my 2 veggies in the steamer go for a walk and 30mins later DINNER is ready. Its so easy!!!!! Thank you Dietchef I have lost 21 lb in 6 and a half weeks. I cannot believe how easy this has been!"

Garry Quantrill, 41, Luton. 19 Feb 2010 1:10am

"I had app 6 stones to loose and it was a daunting prospect. Not any more due to being introduced to Diet Chef. I began the plan on the 25th of Nov and have already lost 2 stones. I am feeling and looking great already. People are now commenting and asking how I am doing so well. On my last holidaty in November I could not face being seen in my costume or even have my photo taken. My next holiday is in May and my aim is to be seen around the pool in my costume not feeling embaressed. This is now something I know I can face and will even have the photo's as proof. "

Jill Meadows, 49, Washington. 16 Feb 2010 7:36pm

"My wife convinced me to try diet chef and of course I was sceptical but in 3 weeks I have lost 15lbs! There is no denying that it was hard in the first 10 days but when you start to see the rewards it's well worth it plus it doesn't take that long to get used to smaller servings. Q The food is lovely which makes it easier and there is little preparation. I recommend Diet Chef whole heartedly, if you follow the instructions and don't cheat the weight starts flying off. "

Martin Preston , 42, Surbiton. 5 Feb 2010 3:30pm

"I am 50 years old and have been overweight for a number of years now. A colleague of mine, Lindsey, has been following the Diet Chef plan since the middle of 2009 and the results have been phenominal. She has been an inspiration and is continuing to follow the plan with exceptional results. In addition to Lindsey another 3 work colleagues are succesfully following the Diet Chef plan with equally impressive results. I hope that I can be as succesful as Lindsey and my other colleagues and that I will also succesfully manage to lose weight. I am currently 11st 5lbs and my target weight is 8st and I hope to achieve my target weight by the summer of 2010. "

Sue, 50, Bradford. 31 Jan 2010 12:25pm

"Got wedding approaching in October 2010, I have a lot to loose and over Christmas it suddenly dawned on me why I have failed at every diet I have ever done. I am too busy! Working full time and managing a home planning and weighing food was just too much like hard work! So then I saw diet chef advertised and realised this may be the answer to my problems. No planning, no cooking, just a couple of minutes in the microwave and you have tasty meals and soups to die for! I started my diet 1st Jan and today 29 days later I have lost one stone three pounds, maybe more as I weigh myself saturdays (tomorrow). For the first time I am excited and planning about life with my new figure. Doing things I never could carrying this excess weight! Thanks Diet Chef, Thanks! "

Janet Whalley, 45, Liverpool. 29 Jan 2010 1:32pm

"I am 33 years old and have been overweight all my life, in fact the smallest I have ever been was in my teens where I was a size 18. I have wanted to lose weight for myself for a while now but with my sisters wedding fast approaching it was the incentive I needed to give me a good nudge in the right direction. After 26 weeks of following the Diet Chef diet I have lost 71 lbs (5 stone 1 lb), this took me up to Christmas week and since then I have managed to maintain this with some festive over indulgence. I am now a size 16, I am going in shops I have never managed to buy clothes from before and my confidence in the way I look is growing and growing. Friends and colleagues have been so impressed that two of them have also signed up for the diet with others seriously considering it! My next aim is to get back on track following the festivities and get another 3 stone off so I have a healthy BMI, and hopefully be confident enough to fullfill my New Years resolution as well as look stunning for my sisters wedding in August so watch this space!!!!"

Lindsey, 33, Bradford. 31 Dec 2009 12:10am

"Having been on diet chef 11 weeks during that time I have been away 1week and several days out run up to christmas and lost 22.lb.I feel much better and into a size smaller clothes, now when I go out for lunch I have salmon and veg and continue with my diet the rest of the day ,to-day I am back on track and hope to loose another 14 Lb. ray, pudsey leeds."

"Overweight, fed up, no goals, lazy. Then I found Diet Chef, along with my partner we decided to give it a go. I lost 16 pounds on the 28 day plan, my partner lost 14 pounds. What a brilliant way to kick yourself ointo shape, and top quality food. I feel healthier already and plan to continue to lose more weight. It doesn't feel as if you are on a diet. Simply the best."

Dean, 49, Middlesbrough. 30 Dec 2009 10:43am

"I have been on the Diet chef for 4 weeks now, everyday i cook 4 differnet dinners for myself and my family (Nobody likes the same food). By the time i've cooked everyone elses dinner im starving an usually start to pick rather than cook my dinner. The Diet chef has been a god send, its so quick and easy, ive lost almost a stone in 4 weeks. I dont feel hungary, the food is delicious. I would reccommend Diet Chef to everyone who wants to loose weight!! I dont even feel like im on a diet, and i could eat the meals forever more. Thanks Diet Chef !!!"

Michelle Jelley, 36, Brentwood. 6 Dec 2009 9:32pm

"A friend of mine told me about Diet Chef as a good way to learn about portion control and to finally tackle my weight. I cannot recommend this diet enough. I was on it for two months and lost two stones! I even managed to get my sister to go on it. I feel fantastic and still manage to enjoy food but I have learned that my favourite foods are fine just as long as I have it all in moderation. "

Tamara , 25, Battersea. 3 Dec 2009 3:03pm

"This has to be the easiest and tastiest diet I have ever been on. After a month I have lost 10lbs so far and have another month to go hopefully to do this again. Brilliant !! Janet "

Janet Barker, 57, Chelmsford. 27 Nov 2009 6:22pm

"Having been a Weightwatcher for the loss of only 10lbs ever. since 1976. keeping my weight to around 9.5 - 10stne all my life. I developed a spinal condition needing a 4 vertebra fusion, I was immobile with pain etc., for nearly 4 years, hence I gained weight until I was 13.4lbs. Surgery over and on the way to repair, I wanted to lose weight. I started with Diet Chef and lost a spectacular 2stne-4lbs in the first 3 months. Now I have to go on a lesser caloried diet with Diet Chef, they are now handling that for me, and I am out to now prove them as good as they were at first, I have 1 more stone to lose. Watch this SPACE. We think the flavours of all of the foods are most enjoyable. Both my husband and myself use these foods, my husband is not wanting to lose weight, he just loves the food. I particularly look forward to my morning Original Granola. My favourite soups are Pea & Ham & Tomato & Pesto, in fact, most of them. Yours, JUNE PHILLIPS"

Mrs June Phillips, 80, Darlington. 25 Nov 2009 8:31pm

"I am now in my 6week and lost 17 pounds delighted I find the meals so easy very tasty, for the first month when I had my brother out for a meal I had only diet coke then the following week went with my friends had a meal and still lost 1 pound .Ray Leeds."

ray gill, 75, leeds. 23 Nov 2009 5:27pm

"Since remarrying 23 years ago I piled on 4 stone and have been unable to lose any of it permanently. I tried all the usual diet clubs, lost a few pounds but always put it back on as I hate weighing and measuring. With Diet Chef you get calorie-counted portion control, and I've lost a stone and a half in three months, which is a healthy way to do it as I don't even feel I've been on a diet. My doctor was always nagging me to lose weight because of my bloodpressure, and now he's halved the dose of my medication and hopes to lower it even more. I have more energy, my clothes fit me again, and I'm going to continue until all 4 stone have gone. Thank you Diet Chef - I wish you'd been around many years ago!!!"

Ann Redrup, 65, Uxbridge. 19 Nov 2009 4:06pm

"I have been on dietchef for 4 days now having ordered the weekly pack.Have already lost 5lbs and have now ordered the 35 day pack at £210. This works out at an amazing £6 per day which is probably less then you would normally spend on food for the day. The choice is amazing and you can have a different meal each day without thinking too much about it. I am looking forward to losing the rest over the coming months. Thank you dietchef."

Bryden Guthrie, 56, Kilbirnie. 18 Nov 2009 7:14pm

"DietChef best diet ever I joined a month ago lost stone in 3 weeks amazeing Ihave slowed down now still managed 2pound quite happy with that never been so determined the food is like something I made myself but so convenient,my sister joined at the same time and lost very similar to me"

ray gill, 75, pudsey leeds. 14 Nov 2009 7:13pm

"I gave birth to our first baby in July and we are getting married in April 2010, I have never been able to stick to a diet because I get lazy, I have only been on the diet 4 days, but I am loving it, and I never thought I would say that about a diet! I used to be a terrible snacker, but its gone, the food really is delicious, especially the curries and the snacks. I hope to loose 3 stone by January, if I carry on enjoying it like I have done so far, I should meet my goal. Fantastic diet. "

Alison Woods, 30, Tiptree. 31 Oct 2009 9:09pm

"Both Husband and Self have lost more than 30 lbs each, by following Diet Chef. We have added fruit and vegetables and have found the whole experience enjoyable. We find that during the week, it is an ideal way of eating, allowing that at weekends we eat fresh fish and perhaps the treat of a roast! "

"What lovely food! I lost one and a half stones in two months and I didn't feel hungry. The weight is still coming off slowly, but this is a diet that worked for me - in fact, my sister drops in now and then for a 'lamb hot pot'!!"

PAULA CROOK, 65, TRURO. 19 Oct 2009 11:21am

"Its been 24 hours since I started My Diet Chef diet. I've got to say, I was very sceptical as I have tried diets before with no luck. I have had 3 meals and a snack so far and I am truley amazed. I am not hungry between meals one bit and the food is absolutely delicious, even my Son tried it and agreed (I'm gob smacked). I can see now that when I fill my plate with all this rubbish food, that it is out of greed and not need, and that by removing all the bad artificial stuff from food, it actually has taste. Thank you Diet Chef, I am looking forward to finishing my first month and getting on the scales at the end of it."

Marie Trower, 36, pinxton, Nottinghamshire. 9 Oct 2009 9:52am

"I saw the Diet Chef advert on TV and thought mmm that sounds good, lets give it a a go! well im on my second week and the food is amazing! I lost 4lbs in my first week and didnt even feel hungry... I never thought I could enjoy such low calorie food and feel full. It has taught me about portion control and not to eat unless im hungry!"

Gemma Irwin, 26, Winchester. 7 Oct 2009 1:01pm

"Well tomorrow is the day hopefully that will change my life I desperatly need to lose at least 2stone, so here goes, I will keep you updated as I go along, I have bought a months supply thats how determined I am."

"it is so easy to follow because everything is delivered to your door. u only need to add fruit and vegatables. i have nearly dropped two dress sizes with another month hamper to go. i combined mine wiv light exercise. highly recommend"

anita, 32, devon. 2 Oct 2009 3:22pm

"I have only just started Diet Chef. I ordered a week first to try and then a 5 week hamper. It is absolutely brilliant. The food is delicious and effortless. It does not feel like I am on a diet whatsoever. I have never tried a diet like this and I think I have done them all. It is early days to know how fast the weight loss will be but I don't actually care if I just lose 1lb a week as I'm loving this so much. If you are contemplating this, I'd urge you to go for it, I am convinced that you will not regret it!"

Alison, 47, Glasgow. 28 Sep 2009 9:54pm

"I had been wanting to lose some weight for a long time for health reasons. My husband spotted the television ad for dietchef.com and I went online, read about it and signed up there and then. The fact that I am eating ordinary food, but just ready calorie-counted and ready to pop into a microwave has made all the difference and makes it so easy. The food is tasty, nutritious and varied and I have lost one stone in a month. Just in time for my son's wedding. I hope to lose up to another stone with my second month's supply and will then call it a day. I will use the Dietchef portion sizes to help me continue with maintenance once I go back to eating with the family. Many thanks to Dietchef.com."

Margaret Harman (Mrs), 60, Ascot. 28 Sep 2009 5:05pm

"My weight had crept up since I had my son, six years ago. Earlier this year it had gone up to nearly twelve and a half stone. I was starting to grow out of a size 16 I and felt bloated and tired. Being a full time Police Officer and wife and mother, juggling shift work and family life became exhausting. My health was suffering and I was getting depressed with my weight gain. I saw Diet Chef being advertised on the TV and thought it sounded just right for me. I ordered five weeks worth of meals the next day. That was mid-May. By August I had lost 39lb and wearing size 10 trousers!! I was amazed that it was so easy to lose the weight. The meals taste great, which made it easier. I have since learnt to count calories successfully and am much more aware of what I eat. My energy level has increased and I now enjoy exercise which helps keep the weight off."

Christine Griffiths, 48, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire. 25 Sep 2009 10:26pm

"I lost 6 stone on lighterlife about 3 years ago and managed to keep the weight off for some time. Over the past year, i have managed to let a couple of stone creep back on. I have tried The Cambridge Diet, but i was sooo miserable. I have been on Diet Chef for a week now and have lost 9 pounds. The food is delicious and i enjoy letting someone take care of the food prep. I am looking forward to finally reaching my goal weight and think Diet Chef is the diet for me!!! I have much more energy and dont feel sluggish anymore. Im sooo glad i found Diet Chef!!!"

"Week one completed!!! I have lost 5 lbs. Been very hungry and headaches, but they are wearing off as my body adjusts. I have a lot too lose, but now I know it is within reach at last. The weight loss has been a big boost, don't need the snacks as I did in the first few days. I know my weight loss will be smaller in the future, but I know it will go and just as appealing, I don't have to measure and search for hours for meals to eat. It's tasty and quick."

"I read about Diet Chef in the Daily Telegraph and as my husband was going to be away from home for the next 6 months(he is in the RAF), I felt it was a great time to do something for myself and lose the weight that had slowly crept up over the past 10 yrs. I started one year ago this month(August)with the Diet Chef plan and have never looked back. My initial weight was 10 stone 6lbs; I am now 8 stone 2lbs, was wearing a size 16; now wearing size 6. I lost the first 2 stones by xmas, only eating Diet Chef. Since Xmas, I have just been careful with my portion sizes and limit my carbs and lost another 1/2 stone. Still able to maintain by increasing my activity, which is so much easier without all the extra weight. Have had the fun task of buying a totally new wardrobe(all my "too big" clothes have been recycled to the charity shop). I feel like a new person, everyone thinks that I look amazing, most of all my husband! I have spread the word about Diet Chef! Thanks!"

"I have tried all manner of diets, most recently I did a VLCD which involved 4 food packs a day, totalling 800 calories. I did lose a lot of weight over a 3 month period, but it was so hard, and if anything i became even more obsessed with food after it all, and inevitably put all the weight back on. A friend suggested Diet Chef, and I have just completed my first week. I am so happy i did. The food is delicious and it really educates you into portion control. I cant recommend it highly enough. My husband wants to start having packs too."

"As with a lot of diets I admit to being a bit sceptical about the likely success and really decided to embark on Diet Chef so that I could get my portion size in control not have to worry about calorie counting, weighing food etc. I was very impressed with the choice of meals and must say that since I have started there really hasn't been one meal I haven't enjoyed - the food is truly delicious, with hot favourites being the chicken fricasse, Thai chicken curry and mushroom stroganoff. I am getting married next year and definitely did not want to be fat for the big day. As we all know metabolic rates tend to slow down as we get older so I wasn't expecting big weight losses, even though I have quite a lot of weight to lose, but have been pleasantly surprised as I have been doing Diet Chef for 7 weeks now and have already lost 2.5 stones (yes, 35 pounds), and inches from literally everywhere. I exercise in a pool 4 times a week, but am a bit restricted with what I can do having had extensive knee surgery over the last 7 years so I can strongly recommend Diet Chef to anyone who wants to lose weight without feeling hungry, and enjoying a wide variety of really tasty meals. Thank you very much Diet Chef."

"I have been dieting for 2 years with other diets and lost nearly 5 stone which is good. But i needed a boost as it has started to slow down and i still have 3 stone to loose. I found diet chef on the tv and the internet and decided to give it a go as all my meals are sorted. I ordered a week to give it a go and to see if i liked the food which they are lush and tasty. I have now done the first week and i am so pleased that i have lost 9lb and 6 cm from my hips and 5 cm from my thigh and 2cm from my waist. It really does work and i have never once felt hungry and feel really good. Have now ordered another 5 weeks food. Thankyou diet chef you really have given me a boost."

"I cannot tell you how pleased I am that I went with my instincts and started this wonderful diet.At 64years old I have tried everything under the sun in my quest to lose weight and only ever gained!! I started this diet on 10th July 2009 and as of today,26th July 2009, have lost 10.5lbs!! I am not hungry, nor have I been. With just a little veg with all my meals and maybe snacks and fruit, I feel so much better. I would recommend this way of dieting to anyone wishing to lose weight, especially someone who is " obese " I now am 14st 3.5lbs and am still losing. Diet Chef will always get my vote and I wish to say thanks from the bottom of my heart. Kind thoughts, Marion"

"I've just received my 2nd 5 week hamper and been eating diet chef meals for 4 weeks now. ( occasional careful deviation for special occasions ) I found it easy to stick to, delicious soups and meals and have never felt hungry. I have lost a stone so far. Thanks for an easy to follow diet at last."
